  1. I wish my local skatepark was as quiet as that. Then i wouldn get the piss taken out me by the BMX crew.
  2. I had this same problem recently. Just take a leaf out of Ryan Leech's book- "You look at it and you just get a feeling whether you can do it or not. Just go with that feeling". Now im doing like 3ft drops but i still need to go bigger. Instead of starting from the rear wheel, find your balance and pedal off it, landing on your rear wheel.
  3. 180 Endo turn to fakie, then spinning 180 back out of it. Its just a mess around thing.....
  4. I ride with flats on a high rise stem for natural/TGS riding but riser and low rise stem for street. I prefer the riser though
  5. I have a bit of a habit tapping onto my front wheel to get up obstacles. I often use a hook-up or zap-tap to get up something but always use my front wheel first. can anyone give me advice for tapping straight onto the rear wheel as its kinda annoying me... Dan
  6. Ok, ill have a go grinding them
  7. Dont like the idea of tar though. Does it not make a mess of your rims?
  8. Neat place for the rear caliper
  9. Danny Macaskill- absolute legend, Neil Tunnicliffe for his BIG moves, Ryan Leech and Martyn Ashton.
  10. Whats wrong with dumfries? And no, im not taking an angle grinder to my wheels.....
  11. Pretty much what the title says. Is there a cheap and easy way to grind a rim? I only want to grind the front rim lightly because the back brake is quite strong anyway with the Inspired pads. Any advice appreciated. Oh and im using standard pads on the front.
  12. Have your bad foot forward and give a good, strong punch of the pedals. Lift the bike up in the air as you do your pedal stroke, extend your arms and legs and prepare for landing. A bit of practise should do you good. I can do 7ft gaps now, its just practise.
  13. Okay, thanks guys i'll plug away at it tonight
  14. Ive been struggling to nail tyre/wheel swaps and i wonder if anyone can give me some advice on how its done. Like at 1:03 in the video below. BIU Japan
  15. Did he get his picture in MBUK recently? Such a shame, RIP mate.
  16. White forks me thinks! Looks awesome Ben, i bet it rides really well.
  17. Arent urbans supposed to be really flexy though?
  18. Right, the other day i thought about making a change to 26" wheels cos of what everyones sayn about having a ta26 on 24s. I dont want to spend alot of money on a fork so i seen the Onza tuf guys on tartybikes. Are they any good, and does anyone reccomend them?
  19. Thats an XC fork, whats it doing on a dirt jump bike?
  20. My Base thats being built is going to be red frame with white fork and white wheels. It looks smart in my head but dont know how it will actually turn out.
  21. Yeah i see what you mean. Its a bit difficut to explain but i'll have a go. Basically, 180 endo turn off a wall. When the rear wheel is waving about in the air, you are facing the way you came. To make it 360, swing the front end round, simply doing a 180 in mid air. Easier seen than explained. Danny Mac uses this move alot in his riding.
  22. 360 endo turn off a wall about 2ft high. Nothing special but looked impressive on the video!!
  23. 24" trials and aggressive XC riding on my Commencal. Heres a link to my Commencal. My Trail Beast Another Pic....after the ride!! Unfortunatly i dont have pics of my trials bike on pinkbike.
  24. Got to agree with you mate! I would also say Danny Holroyd and Neil Tunnicliffe
  25. OUCH!! It always looks worse when they'rs blood dripping from it.
