    Shifter

I have just had my X7 shifters apart to replace the cables and mine did not have a spring on the barrel adjuster as far as I remeber. The only thing I can see wrong with the picture is that the end of the coil spring is in the wrong place.
  3. Iv had a Lezyne micro floor drive HV mini pump for well over a year and its been great. The only down side is that the guage is a bit jumpy at low pressure but it can be easily taken apart and put a small amount of lubricant in it. Plus it does look good...http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=36291
  4. Im going to ride Lepe this afternoon/evening, I'll PM you my number if your interested or for any other time your riding.
  5. I should be able to come along.
  6. Now you tell us, only joking. Doing any thing this weekend Luke?
  7. I will try to get there around 2 then, should give enough time for any traffic.
  8. Ok, just to let you know it is the boat show so the traffic into southampton will be bad. What sort of time will you be there?
  9. It looks a bit wet in southampton but its all blue sky at the moment so could dry up.
  10. Would be up for that but weather looks hit or miss so could go either way. Will have to see in the morning.
  11. Anyone riding tomorrow around southampton, milford, barton, Sandbanks area?
  12. You have made a couple of small mistakes when calculating the volume due to (60^2)/2 is 1800 not 900 and also for the length of the tube you have taken it as the smallest possible value for the diameter when the diameter in between the smallest and the diameter including the tyre would be more accurate.
  13. Might come along, how long you going to be out for as I dont finish work till 8?
  14. Without the extra spacers the adaptor is the wrong size, but as Adam has said that having loads of different adaptors can get confusing so just adding a couple of spacers to save all this explanation is much easier. Also I take it that the standard adaptor is also 180 which means that you will get the same problem that can be solved with a couple of small spacers.
  15. As said in my earlyer post the problem is that the adptor is the wrong one for your setup. So only common if people get the wrong adaptor.
  16. Yer your better off adding spacers as filing the calliper may mean the pads are not pressing fully on the main part of the rotor.
  17. The problem is due to adaptor F is the wrong one for your setup. Adaptor F is a 180 adaptor and then with the +20 makes 200 not 203. The correct adaptor that you need is adaptor J which is 183 then with your +20 forks makes 203. I have an almost identical setup to you with same forks rotor and BB7 but with the J adaptor and I have had no problems with rubbing.
  18. From the picture I still think it is the end cap. The part between the red circles has worn down so the sholder is not doing anything and is sitting up against the inner ring of the bearing causing the outer part (between the green circles) to rub on the outter ring of the bearing. so when you tighten it up the end cap locks the inner and outer rings of the bearing together stoping it from working stoping the free hub from turning.
  19. Yer the end cap should have a groove shoulder in the middle to go up against the very inner ring of the bearing. Bit like this but the correct spacer:CRC end cap
  20. It looks like your end cap has been rubbing on the bearing, this happened to me and jamed it up. If you access to a lathe jest turn the end cap down so there is a lip in the centre to rest on the centre of the bearing or just get a new end cap.
  21. Looking good dude, wish my exams would hurry up and finish.

    Xr 26

The XR26 deferently has vertical dropouts:Ozonys In which case just run some sort of tensioner.

    Xr 26

The XR26 has vertical dropouts so dont you have a chain tensioner or is that why you are running a half link? If your looking for a tensioner a Rohloff is your best bet, can get a good second hand on off here for not to much. Or most double wheel tensioners will work fine.
  24. What time are you getting there?
  25. YER!!!! Just thought that its bank holiday tomorrow so might be a bit busy on the roads so might be a bit later.
