Does anyone here have the problem of inner tubes bursting after patching them up? I'm using a 20"x1.75-2.125 in my back wheel and it always rip along the puncture hole so I have to use a new tube everytime. And a quick question, which 20"/19" innertube had the words cheng shin on it? I brought the maxxis welterweight ones of tarty thinking they were the same as my old tube, which was fatter than usual and had the words cheng shin on it. Wasn't the Kenda 19" downhill tube was it?

I can see it in 2 halves already.

I doubt you're ensuite has enough room for a bike and you to move freely around in. Just take it down if you have enough car space, don't worry about being caught either. I bumped into the halls people several times with my bike on the way out and I just said you didn't see me and they said nope we didn't. I haven't been warned or anything either. I don't know about your halls but mine had a shared bike shed thingy. There was about 50 bikes in there, behind one locked door with multiples of the same key being handed out to whoever used the shed. One of my friend had 3 of his bikes robbed, got a new one from insurance but got robbed again. I kept my shit bike in there and my mod in my room and I still have my shit bike. I've only had 2 room checks in my first year and they don't come and look in your room when they want. I know some halls specifically say no bikes in your rooms but they also say no smoking, none of my friends has been caught either.

Specifically which KMC is it? You should be fine with this one, but as with all chains you should chain them in a few months time though, I have seen these snap and I snapped one myself (3/32 size one). I don't think it will rub against your spokes.

Just keep it in your room, when there's a room check take it down the bike locks before they come and then put it back in your room after they've checked your room. This is what I did. But yeah like revolver said, you'll have to compact your bike one way or another if you want to put it under your bed or in the ensuite, even if you are staying in the most expensive halls.

If you get this, you should clear the spokes. The teeths are to one side, I'm using a 12T one and it clears my spokes.

What rear sprocket are you using?

The widest part of this chain is the pins, which are about 10mm wide. If that's wider than the current chain you are running, a collapse might rub against your spokes.
