  1. Nice looking wood but the body shape and headstock is ugly.....
  2. Work just as good as normal clamps. Mine has never slipped.
  3. The Echo Tr brake clamps doesn't need washers, so much less hassle, cylinders are set square and these have much more adjustability than with cylinder washers.

    Sushi

I add all sorts of stuff in mine, sausage, egg, cucumber, seafood sticks, watever fish I have, other seafood meat if you have any. I have it with wasabi soemtimes but soy sauce mixed with vinegar (1:1 I like it) goes with sushi quite nice. To be anyway. Don't specifically has to be sushi rice, I use normal rice most of the time.

    Proton E1

So do you just call it a tube? When you say you dent your 'downtube' on other frames how do you say it for this one? I dent my tube? Anyway, why would you want one? It's like illegal to own one cos its so ugly! Good like getting hold of one though
  7. I'll try to keep this short and simple. Setup: LGM pads in heatsink backings 05 maggy water bled 08 echo lever with chorillas TPA echo tr brake clamp 07 echo rim light sharp grind (I think it's 07...) Two little problems. Firstly, heatsink backings combined with these LGM pads and standard brake clamps there were too thick to fit inbetween my rim and the cylinders, TPA all the way out and the pads were still touching the rim making it unridable. I had to sand off about 1mm of material before there was enough room to clear my rim. People with tensile offset mounts won't have this problem. Won't be a problem either if you are using TNN or the new phatpad backings. Secondly, the 2 bits that stick out on the pads (the bits that fit into the backings) was too wide to fit in the heatsink backings. I had to cut off about 1mm in total on both sides before it would fit into the backings. So what are they like?! FREAKING AWESOME! They certainly hold just like the CRMs and I do dare to say LGMs are even better! Just like Le@Tnn says, these have raw power with excellent bite and holding power. They just hold on everything I do, ok they did slip but I have an odd grind, pads don't hold as well if my wheel spins backwards. Pedal hops, wheel swaps, gaps or even just jumping around on the back wheel these pads hold! Also, these are the best bads I've used in the wet as well. It wasn't raining yesterday and today so to simulate the rain I poured water on my pads and rim. As most people know, when pads are wet they significantly loose that bite and hold but the difference in these LGM pads from dry to wet is much much less then you would imagine. The bite and hold is still there and I was actually comfortable riding them when wet, the honk noise is still there if you are bothered by sound of pads. I've used phat pads and coust pads in heatsink backings, rock blue pads, old CRMs and boxx browns in power backings and to be honest none of them held better than these LGMs when wet. You really need to try these out for yourself to understand just how good these are. I would actually say these are serious competition to phatpads as well! I'm coming to the Reading ride too, so if you want a try feel free to ask me! I'm on a silver czar mod, and I'll probably be the only chinese there so you shouldn't be able to not see me Here's a few pics of the pads and the packaging they come in, I hope Le doesn't mind me posting them up!
  8. I might be going, depends if they want me in at work. Didn't really ride last time I went cos it was so f**king cold!
  9. I probably won't be out till about 2:30, so will catch up with you guys.
  10. I'll show you how shit the try alls are later tonight, I took some pictures of mine. It's baaaaaad! I've seen tensiles explode/implode, never seen a ENO die though.
  11. Trials is the shit, init! It's my only form of excerise, it's something I enjoy doing and it's just so much more fun than lets say bmx or downhill

  13. Anyone here got a decent guitar they would sell me for about £250? I'm desperate to play again!!
  14. How'd you manage to get the crms off? I've tried boiling mine for over 20mins (even though it says 5mins in the instructions) and still could'nt get them off, I used a screwdriver but still can't and I don't want to rip off my cms!

  19. Haha, someone at DJ ride saw the GU badge, but its a Czar frame so they named it Guzar.
  20. Got the frame dirt cheap , changing back to a long frame feels really nice and I'm sticking to it. Few new bits since my echo, pretty obvious what's on it. I love this frame
