Freewheels are slightly eccentric. When I tighten my chain with integrated tensiones on my Genesis there are tight spots in my chain and slightly looser spots when I rotate the crank. But what you're describing, when under pressure from pedals your frame flexes a little and the chain tension will loosen under load. It'll go back to normal when not under load. Watch some videos and look closely at the chain when the rider is preloading, the chain will slacken a bit.

You need to stop crying about scratched bars.

Photo editing on a 13" screen? You're gonna be doing a lot of zooming in and out. If you are not taking the Macbook with you out and about, consider building yourself a PC if you're going to drop at least £900 (cheapest MBP on Apples site)? You can build yourself a complete rig that out performs the MBP in all ways, apart from looks. I'm talking a complete system, all the components, case, drives, including monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. You can also play some games if you're into that.

If you think trials has such bad quality parts why don't you just go back to whatever type of cycling you was doing before? Clearly you're having no luck with trials parts, and if you really wanted to ride you would just put the HS33 back on and go ride.

Front half looks nice, rear half looks plain stupid.

Mine cracked on the right chainstay near the bridge(?), odd place to crack. I sidehop to the left, right chainstay was in pretty good condition too. But, don't let that put you off. All frames crack.

I liked it when I had one. Looks alright, rides alright, standard deng frame.

I think you need a few more bits to make a PC.
