  1. I would love to get me a semi acoustic, always wanted one. Also, just had a look at Tanglewoods website for your guitar, their RRP price is £359. You didn't pay near £450 for it did you?
  2. £450 should get your a fairly decent guitar. Although my £480 Ibanez has some stupid quality issues, such as the string slots in the nut being cut waaaay too deep and all at uneven depths and the machine heads had some dead spots but I've changed those now. Then again my other £250 Ibanez is pretty much spot on in terms of finish and quality, I've only changed the pickups and pots, everything else is fine! Bit hit and miss I guess with these mass manufactured guitars. I've never managed to get perfect intonation though, some strings are always that tiny bit too sharp or flat according to the tuner but it's not very noticeable by ear. What guitar is it by the way?
  3. Old strings can definitely affect your intonation, so can many other things like string gauge, action and bowed neck as some mentioned. Your problem usually affects lower end guitars more, but if it's not a low end guitar then there's definitely a problem with the guitar. But try a set of new strings first then set your action first then intonation. Remember if you are going for a different gauge string you will need to adjust the now of the neck again.
  4. Be a little less selfless sometimes man. Go do the things that make you happy, if your friends support you moving to your Dad's then go. I'm sure your mum will understand if you had a proper chat with her. I just moved out of my parents, bedroom was tiny, having friends over was inconvenient, not close to the city centre, area was bad and some other reasons. I felt like I was being held back living there so I saved up enough and moved out. Now I have my own space I feel like I can finally move forward with my life As long as you have some sort of plan I'm sure you'll do fine.
  5. Girl in the SICK t-shirt has some fine legs.

    Who am I?

I think the people who've been on TF longer will know who a pringles tube refers to. Can't remember if it was this flavour though. The original image of this person has burned into my eyes.
  8. Got the frame back from the powdercoaters yesterday. Colour might not be to everyones taste but I love it! It's my first ever BMX, previously owned by Revolver, but I stripped it, changed a few things and got the frame powdercoated. More photos!
  9. oh my god. I'm a sucker for odd bikes, plus the fact that I love model kits I want this thing so much!!
  10. Finally have a BMXup and running and looking like how I want it!
  11. Started earning to do the Rubik's Cube yesterday, first time took me hours even following instructions. Now I have memorized most of it and only looking at instructions when I have forgotten I have got my quickest time down to about 6 mins. Not bad for in a day I'd say. Now I'll just have to get it down to close to a minute to beat Justin Bieber.
  12. You sold yours not long ago didn't you? Riding again?
  13. Anyone else think the crown imprint thingy looks too big?
  14. How is Chad Kerly so gooood?!!
  15. I'll buy you a laptop charger! A man needs his porn.
  16. My friend is on holiday, has a dodgy wifi connection so he wanted me to log in to his eBay for him (he gave me his details) so I can sort out some refunds stuff for him. So after sorting that out I searched "bondage" and watched the first 10 items that came up, which included handcuffs, some sort of bondage chair, latex outfits, whips, ball gag etc etc. Just got a message from him saying "What have you done!" Ha.
  17. No idea. It was plugged into my audio interface but since it uses the same USB as my printer I unplugged it from the interface then plugged it to my printer. First the printer was recognized but the drivers wouldn't install even though the drivers are already installed. So I unplugged to plug my interface back in and now nothing happens. Now that USB port doesn't recognize anything, plugged in memory sticks, my phone, printer again, cameras etc etc and still nothing. Happened before, I've searched and searched the internet but nothing has solved it.
  18. One USB port has decided to stop working completely. Had this problem before and the only I managed to fix it was to re-install windows from fresh for it to start working again. So annoying.
  19. Just had a look at a decent size room for £400 including all bills. Nice big window facing a pond, wooden flooring, in a quiet place which is nice and took me about 7 mins to get to work on a bicycle. Room is in a shared house with other male/females around my age. Only thing is there's no where to put my bikes, they said they would be happy to put in some wall mounts so I can lock my bikes to them but it's outside although it is under cover. Still likely to get robbed. EDIT: I'm taking said room, I haven't been able to find a nicer one for that price including all bills. Paying the holding deposit tomorrow and moving into it at the end of the month! Slightly scared that I won't survive on what's left of my monthly wage after rent but I'll just have to budget really well. I should be okay though, managed 3 years of uni living in halls and rented places without a job for most of 2 years and just about scraped by. Oh man, what's going to happen from May onwards?!
  20. Yeah. £200 is if I go for a nice big room, I really need space though as my bedroom I live in now at home is no bigger than a 2.5m cube, anything I can rent that is bigger than that is a bonus. Might be just me being picky though, only looking at the nicer ones. As long as I can fit all my shit in my own room, somewhere in the house (if I'm sharing) to put my two bikes (they're my babies) I'll be happy.
  21. Looking for room//studio flat to move into in. Need a room that has enough space for all my shit, but they get pricey and on my current salary it leaves me about £200-£400 (depending on which I go for) after rent and all bills to live on for the month. I should be able to do it but it doesn't leave me much to do other things. But I'll have the freedom of not living with my parents and my own space which I really need at this time in my life. I could endure that for a year or two, while trying to save up some money. Then work towards getting a better paid job. *siiiiigh* Gonna try my luck on the lottery.
  22. I recognize this spot, it's down Portsmouth by the model village! Corsa looks silly... Also need video for proof of him hopping over that. Man I miss riding trials there.
  23. In season 3 somewhere. Need to catch up on so a few TV series too actually, Breaking bad, Community and Dexter.
