  1. Also to take the presure of choosing novice, intermidiate etc. You will be able to change down or up level if you feel in the wrong Catergory for you skill level. This can be done up to a hour before your comp on the day.
  2. Yes this is open to 24 inch as well. This will be a great chance for people doing there first comp as Weather will not be problem and you can enjoy your brakes working really well all Day long.

Andrei, me and joe and few other people have a whole week to Build the riding area which will be Imense and we have had some Great Ideas about section Which are Inspired off the Czech republic world championship section. Also we have some nice ideas for novice and itermidate sections. Oh for people who like kicker or two on to objects we will have them as well.

  5. Hi to all riders viewing this topic, I am pleased to announce that Andrei Burton is back with another event that is even bigger and better than the last one. It's a one off The competition is open to all: from street riders 20" 24" 26", local club riders, novices, intermedate, expert, elite and world championship riders. It's going to be so good. There will be a constant area to practise/ride for all levels over the three days, like you may have seen at NASS or UCI Comps. The Trial of Wessex will be on the following confirmed dates: 23rd-25th May, which are a Saturday, Sunday and BANK HOLIDAY Monday so you should all, hopefully, be off work/school/college etc Saturday will consist of a day to practise or have fun trying all sorts of lines and hanging out relaxing with PRO's Famous Street riders and Freinds. In preparation for the Sunday and Monday comps. How to enter: The first thing you dont have to worry about is a license, we have sorted it out so that you won't need one. The Next is to visit this website. http://www.trialofwessex.com/ Good news for competitors: We are putting together a goody bag containing hydration and stuff to take away with you. Many other treats are being organised for the riders . There will be trophies and prizes for podium winning riders. TBA. There will also be 2 magazines and TV covering the day along with the winners and riders who had fun. This will be great for exposure for riders and the sport. The courses will consist of 6 sections and 3 laps: - Novice and Intermediate will be under BIU rules and start in the morning of Sunday and Monday. We have decided on BIU rules to make it more friendly to riders who are doing their first comp, however, we are going to chuck in a couple of UCI style sections to let you get your UCI skills out. - Expert will start late morning on Sunday and Monday and will be under UCI Rules. - Elite will be in the afternoon of Sunday and Monday, also under UCI Rules. This is so that all riders can relax after their comp to follow and watch the Elite and pro riders and cheer them on. The location is Sutton Sports Centre in Somerset, South-West England. HQ, Somerton Sports Club, Somerton, Somerset, TA11 6HS . Put that in you SAT NAV or Google Map It. There are plenty of places to stay This is also a cycle show which the trials comp will be headlining. We have got 8 cars to ride on and tonnes and tonnes of concrete objects to ride etc. My self personally i cant wait to ride this event. Each section will have a theme. There will be plenty more details on the event to come. Andrei B, Jack Meek and Joe Seddon have the best combined course design experience going so we are not going to let you down. Look forward to seeing you there. Thanks, Jack Meek.

  11. There is only one dangerous dave. I love it. I have not seen you on a megamo for god know how long. That was so good watching you kick some trials moves out of that bike. It was such a good frame to ride. Always wanted one. But now i just think about the time i wanted one and that has just made me want one again. Are you planning on that being your bike for the season dave? Loook after it. lol See you soon. Im in the first stages of looking at getting over for crankworx. does stevie baia sort that out for the trials side of things. speak soon dave.
  12. Hi Mowgli. Im in. I can't wait. If anyone is reading this and you think you fit in the south uk catergory as a rider you might be interested in having a go. Visit www.hbtclub.co.uk There is a A.C.U form that you can print off and fill in. Send it off and you have a license and that is it. Your ready to enter comps. If your keen for the bransgore round this month be quick and check if you can get in for the next comp 02380 643 503. Thats Terry Graves who is the main person. Also Mowgli is sending out email to hampshire bike trials riders who he has in contact already so any question post them here in this topic and i bet he will get back to very quickly. Try a comp and see how much more powerful your street riding gets. Prime examples James Porter, Dave Marshall, oh and if you dont like it at least you had a taste of what it was like. Im so glad I have tryed and i bet there are other riders who would back that up. Im off im going to do some practise see if i can get a good result.
  13. Just to clear that one up. It was actually myself that organised that day. Emails to foreign riders, updates, info, maps, speech, and making the topic grow into a life of its own with every one cumunicating whilst i kept an eye for anything i could do to help. joe made a facebook group to make sure unicyclist new and his friends. Joe hodges had done a ride that me and him went on which he had organised a couple of months before. Very lo key but a brilliant ride none the less. It was great seeing all you guys and what a day.
  14. sam brant tweaker on a drop off looks great.
  15. Hi guys i am so happy you all enjoyed it. I felt gutted for slinger and his bike. It was not fair much too early in the day. I hope he is ok. Thanks very much for your thanks and gratitude. I had managed to get the bbc there in the morning to cover it and we did some clips. They had left and then something stranged happen when left with the footage. They rang up and said becuase it was not run by the local council this meant the ride was illegal so the footage they got was illegal and they could not broadcast it. Ha Ha Ha well that is very weak excuse coming from them. That means that if there was a murder and they filmed the crime scene, which is very illegal compared to riding they would not be able to broad cast it. But dont fret and feel like they are annouying for doing that. Do somthing positive about it and if you took pictures Send them to the bbc emails . If you all send them they might take a second look on the matter. http://news.bbc.co.uk/newswatch/ifs/hi/new...500/4000545.stm By post BBC News website Room 7540 BBC Television Centre Wood Lane London W12 7RJ If you do decide to try and send them your photos do leave a positive message about how good your day was.
