  1. You need to change the cable and flush the housing through with some gt85, then stick something nice and thick down after it, for example finish line wet loob, or some sort of wax loob.
  2. No, no no, the round bolt heads, as in the ones which have a concave head on em, like an upside down bowl, there'll be no way for them to get a grip.. EDIT See, no way to get a decent grip.
  3. Cool, not gonna work very well on round headed bolts then?
  4. When doing this be VERY careful not to damage youyr disc.
  5. I think American Classoc do one...
  6. The best and most foolproof way in my experience is: take a file to the heads and file spanner flats on, then use a shifter and unscrew em. Tapping the bolts with a hammer, tapping not walloping, and pouring boiling water onto the bolts can also help as they will break the loctite bond. Good Luck. I find the best way to try is: torx key, spanner flats, if those fail go to the drill and the eas out.
  7. I suggest that instead of spending a lot of money and time on a tensioner you make yourself a 3mm thick hanger out of mild steel, if it bends it bends back easily.
  8. Aha, another person using a decent brake, soon we shall take over the world.
  9. What the f**k I had to use 2 spacers and a 128x68. Also looks uber sweet, I should get off me arse n take some pics, will do it when I get back.
  10. So call tarty, they're the importer/distributor...
  11. What I meant to say was that knowing that and the rest of the frame geo you could work out that length.
  12. 680mm according to tartybikes.
  13. I'm sorry, but the boy obviously is an idiot if he didn't manage to figure out that you have to post to get validated.
  14. I'm sorry, but this is retarded, you obviously haven't read the guidelines therefore do not deserve to be validated. How do you think the Mods can judge whether you're fit to be a member if you never post. In that very eloquent post you have proven yourself incapable of reading something in red at the top of the forum, or of grasping the concept of validation therefore you're not ready to be validated. P.S. You won't be validated on the strength of one post, you have to show that you're fit to be a member for an extended period of time. P.P.S I'm sorry if this seems hars, but I'm not having a good day. P.P.P.S Flame me if you like, I'm going be away til wednesday, so don't care.
  15. I like that post, there's only one thing I dislike, it is demeaning to the victims of the holocaust to call this hitlerian. But you edited it.
  16. I personnaly reckon 160 on the rear is a bit small, I'd go for a 180.
  17. Neither of the levers have bearings, they have bushings, but yes the shape is what I was referring too, as Dave said the XT's were uncomfortable but the XTR's were.
  18. I'll put a post up on TF if I remember, that way all the English people will know.
  19. Liking it, coming over to a good braking system.
  20. Doing anything special? I'm doing what I love best, riding my bike, chilling with friends and then getting marginally inebriated.
  21. Cool, 9 days til I'm 18, looking forward to it. You gonna be 19 aye?
  22. I believe these had a nice problem with snapping at the headtube.
  23. XT are exactly the same as xtr bar a few grams and the colours.
  24. You set up the v brake as normal after you put on the 4 bolt mounts, piece of pish.
