I'd say get a 135 mm spacing, simply cos it's more flexible, you can always run singlespeed on 135, but you can't run gears on a 110 if you should ever want to go back.

Unsealed bearings are more easily serviced than sealed, all you do is pop off the endcap, undo the nuts and then take all the bearings out clean em, clean inside the pedal, re grease with a good grease and put it all back together. Piece of piss, you could even fix you ddgs for a couple of quid.
