  1. At last the tensile freewheel lives, I'll probably never use one, but I've been waiting to see it since some time last year. Also this new hub sounds good, shame I already have a king.
  2. The best tensioner there is is a locked out rear mech. :'( And on the subject of a cassette, surely it's better to drive to that other place which had the DT hubs than to wait for a cassette to come from CRC?
  3. Get a file, file a spanner flat onto the edge of the bolt, use a spanner to unscrew the bolt. Same goes for the guy who started the thread.
  4. I took a brand new internal headset out of a bike at work yesterday, it felt absolutely rank.
  5. Apparently most taiwanese companies don't set up a jig for a proto frame, they just weld them very carefully without, this reduces the cost hugely. :)" Do you honestly thing onza would have produced the eight or so proto mod frames they did a while back if it was so dear to make them? Also porsche's market isn't that huge, after all you have to be able to afford one. :( :)
  6. The thing is, if porsche decided to design a new car it would cost them a million or two, but if onza want a proto frame, it won't cost them that much more than a production frame I'd guess.
  7. It's not really about weight, it's about smoothness. If you land smoothly you won't rim out so won't pinch, if you land like a sack of spuds you will rim out, and then pinch. I'd suggest taking the dh tube out and doing a tubeless conversion. :)
  8. Yes, but in relation to the rest of the trials market onza are not small "mate". :)
  9. All you need to do is mount the tire on the rim, and pump fast. :) If it won't seal then you need to put soapy suds on the tyres.
  10. Onza aren't small. :)"
  11. Rob can you put up pics of the inside and the pawls, see if we can see something?
  12. What is this nonsense about having the "guts" to release the slinger frame??? It is a prototype, get me, the frame will be released once it is ready. It's not a case of too weird, it's a case of getting it right first time. Look at the woodstock, something like 7 protos were made. If onza were to just release a copy of the python that would be silly as it may even attract a lawsuit, however a tweaked python would be very nice as it would offer a good design to a wide range of customer at a great price. On the long stays thing, with longer stays you have more leverage against the ground so can probably get more power in, another thing being it will take longer to pull up the front end so in the time you can also get more power down. Oh and Andy, I have read your posts, I do understand english. :)
  13. Am I right in saying when you got the tire it came folded up, and when you unpacked it it had little bits that folded in, well I'm guessing thats what might have caused that. Just deflate the tire and go round the edge making sure its sitting properly, and if you find any of the folded in parts pop them out. :(
  14. If your pads seem shiny then take them out, get a piece of sandpaper, place the sandpaper on a very flat surface (for example a window) and sand the pads in a circular motion. Or, pour water on the disc callipers and ride around doing short sharp stops. Even better do both. (N)

Don't be stupid Mike, if onza parts were just for learning on I'd better go and replace, my bars, front rim pedals on both bikes.....get the point. There are and will always be onza haters, theres a simple cure though, don't listen to them.
  16. In the last 2 months in my local park I've seen 2 different riders doing flips to manual, only one of those riders was sponsored, and thats only a small time sponsor too. I'll tell mick n dean and see if they can learn flips to tyre taps. Anyway....nice one bongo. ;)
  17. Also if you helicoil it to m5, then somehow kill it again you can then helicoil it to m6. (Y)
  18. Exams all finished last wednesday, rode every day since then, went bac for 6th year on monday, going to be a good year and a good summer. (Y)
  19. Thats more than a bit crap, but whatever best get downloading. :P
  20. The thing is when I left click it automatically streams, are you saying I have to stream then save it out of internet files?
  21. The site keeps on opening media player, can some one please tell me how to save the vid?? I've right clicked EVERYTHING on that page and i still can't get it saved. :P
  22. It is not unknown for the disc to rub on the top of the calliper if it's very ovalised, or if your fork mounts are messed up. :P
