  1. Real nice riding there Dan, music were good too. :P
  2. A compatibility issue, also a customer sevice one I'd say.
  3. They are extremely powerful, I got one in 180 (had to send it back, but thats another story) and I feel I could have easily got away with a 160, I'm 13 stone and I like a powerful brake. :P EDIT So in other words, a 160 will be plenty. :D
  4. Yeh but Tomm, it depends on how much you weigh. :P
  5. I don't know what you have on your bike, so a pic of it would be good. (Y) Also lower tire pressure will make the bike feel lighter as you'll get more "bounce" out of the tyre.
  6. Yes, that's the right one, and a 160 mm rotor will be more than enough on a mod. If you feel you REALLY need the extra power a 185 will do you proud too. (Y)
  7. I'm hyper mobile, any way of dealing with it quickly? (Y) EDIT Grammar
  8. It all depends on the rider, I have an xt lever (same shape as an xtr) and I love it, but I wish it wasn't hollowed out, cos it hurts if you crush your fingers. But I have an SD5 on me jump bike and I like that too. I just prefer me xt lever, just try them on other bikes and see. (Y)
  9. I know guineasmithpig on here uses an old koxx rear rim on the front and loves it. (Y) The only problem is with a rim that wide you need to use a fairly wide tyre, the minimmum being around 2.3.
  10. Just click download anyway, it works. :(
  11. But if its a REALLY fat person you might need assistance to stop them. (Y)"
  12. Aye, but if the levers gonna move a silly amount it might as well start at a comfortable point. (Y)

Are you insulting my cat? (Y) :D :deej: :D But yeh they act like animals, tis a shame to see people debasing themselves. :deej: Ruining life for themselves and others. I wish there was an easy solution, but the only ones I know of involve the re-education of society. Not an easy task from what I've heard. But the really sad thing is that they can be very smart about making other people suffer.

Not necessarily true. I know that if some of the scum in my school got a few good beatings off stragers they would probably calm down a bit.
  15. I know that too, I wans't suggesting that as a solution to the guy who started the threads problem, but to what you said, about holding the lever in a little. It's better to adjust the reach. :turned:
  16. Was also reffering to the hope. I like me levers quite far in too. That little screw in the bushing on the hope lever, if you twist it toward the bars on a front brake it moves the lever in. :turned:
  17. You know there are things on brake levers to adjust the lever to where it starts its travel, they're called reach adjusters. :turned:

What the hell, didn't you just get a special leeson??? :turned:
  19. I still think that finding out where your staying and ordering from a mail order shop is the best idea. :turned:
  20. Nah, cos the frame would need re heat treated.
  21. Why don't you taqlk to tartybikes or the like, pay for the stuff and then have it delivered to wherever your going to stay.
  22. Rimjam Vee pads, try em they're very good.
  23. I seem to rememer that when the tarty proto came out people said it was easier for hooks because you had more clearance for your feet to the wall and that sidehops were esier because you were higher up to begin with. Might be mis-remembering though, my memory is extremely shady.
