Vees all the way, I have a set of rimjam blue v pads on a ceramic rim, lx arms and xt levers, the power takes the piss, better than any others I know, that includes a pair of zoo pads on a smooth rim. I reckon that a pair of jam blues on a light grind, deore arms xt levers and an odyssey brake line cable is the best you can get. The problem with running a gear outer is that after a little while the actual housing pushes through it's coating, and sometimes messes up your brake. :lol:

How about, get the hogs, take the pins out of one side, then weight them so that the pinless side will end up facing backwards if you take your foot off, and learn to put your feet on the pedals while moving them backwards. Evening, not really sure where this should go, but I have a set of manitou stance flows, and they started making a sort of clunky sound if I compress them. As in I'm standing off the bike and press down lightly, or just drop the front end of the bike from a few inches. So I was wondering if anyone knows what it is and how to fix it? Ta Dave
