Use REALLY fine wet and dry, then go round with brasso. Thats about as smooth as you can get it.

You can do that too, but mark said he wasd having trouble gettin his inserts out, so forcing them might not be a good idea.

Get onza to send you a new set of inserts? use the new backing plates to hold the inserts while you unscrew the pedals. Remove old inserts, clean old threads out and put back in with industrial loctite. It works.

For square tapers stick to shimano, for splined fsa or truvativ.

He rides natural, so uses his pedals on rocks I think. I really think you should try the shindigs, I just bought a second set for me jump bike. They really are great pedals.

I'd take a trials video in to show the police, let them see what you are trying to do, take in a vid of a trials competition for best effect.
