I have Tensile's. I love them. However Others will slate them I fear. Most of the big brand names are reliable and really strong, although as mentioned Echo CNC and Trailtech are getting rave reviews!
-
That was a worthwhile economic descision then.

I'd be tempted to say move to stock. however if you're not cramped on the mod the by all means stay with it. It's a good idea to try a few mates/fellow riders bikes for a few minutes, see what suits you. Personally I can't stand mod, it has always felt like a bike that small should be more like my bmx and not like a kids bike (hornets nest officially poked)

F**k all the above! Throw your bike! Smoke a tab. Works for me. Being realistic I usually step off for a min to cool off and rest my body, normally have summat to eat/drink (healthy food and water not chocolate and booze, as both will impair you further) And everyone else has said, it is supposed to be fun, but no-one can deny when that line/move is elluding you repeatedly it is a royal PITA

http://www.supercycles.co.uk/site_details.asp?ProductID=597 na I meant an actual spider- as sepcified with these cranks. Or more specifically the spider attached to these: It won't let me embed the image to here's the link

Tensile do/did a screw-on spider for their cranks I do believe? Perhaps contact them and see if they've got any. alternatively bmx cranks!!!! midi drive

That's ok mark, would be do-able on a BMX though On a serious note I'm really liking the Brakeless Revolution At Tarty (BRAT for short), you're all up for it and being seriously commited to getting lines down without the aid of brakes!
-
hmmm I might add by old mx lid peak to my giro semi Pity it's a sweat box but would be ok on the motorbike at the cycling events i help at (we have a wear a lid everywhere in the park on motorbikes during events)

Vid 5 comment Nice work, tech lines brakeless is amazing! Oh and well rescued on the foul up! Although watching/riding BMX too much meant i mapped the line as you were riding and in my head it went like this: For me: 180 down the step and half-cab up again Pro's: similar but maybe with a tailwhip or barspin? Still a great vid!

Except Pro Green can actually flow.

Be a man! I always use this trick with tough grips: -put some cable ties in the inside of the grip, work the grip on then pull the ties out. sorted

The reason we don't hear about flights being affected after eruptions is it that it never happens near us. In the pacific 'ring of fire' is probably not that uncommon.
-
I'm afraid I've just seen one. spoilt my fun

Massive! postbox was mad and the commitment with the huge gap over drop near the end was cool! Apart from you don't seem to pre-load at all on sidehops crazy height without though!

If you're worried about wear life it'll be the compound which will dictate the life span of a tyre. I have a harder compound dual ply high roller rear tyre, had it for ages and it still looks in good shape. About 2 months after I bought the rear, I went for a super tacky single ply front tyre, that's pretty much nailed already. Awesome grip, just going place to place has beasted it.

Do this or it's a nightmare!! Especially as everyone will have bikes and valuables to secure in cars/vans etc. At a festival a year ago, a friend who is asmatic had to push past security to get her astma med's from the car cos the security were being wankers about the 'No Returning To Vehicles' rule. She came back with her inhaler an stuff and the guy didnt apologise, but proceeded to pat her down again and make her sign in again!

Why Arnt There Any Good Topic'S In The Newbie Section?
shamus replied to aidanb93's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
But then there are Full Members who's posts are almost as bad, although they get suitably rebuked by other members. I appluade the full members who assist and spend a great deal of time encouraging the younger/newer generation of trials riders. Achieving this without looking down their nose at them is quite difficult on ocassion. I often venture into NMC, often it ends with being completely baffled by the standard of the post's. However if it is legible, I will try and assist if I have the time/willpower. For those wishing to be validated: -Get a spell-checker add-on -Re-read replies before posting. Do they make sense? If not no-one will give you a reasonable response. -DO NOT use 'cos' instead of because, 'wud' instead of would, 'shud' instead of should, or any other b*****d offspring of the 'txt' generation Bastard? Censored, really? -

Stood on top of a granite batholithe or outcrop like dartmoor, the lakes, the peaks, most of wales and scotland you are exposed to more radiation then in a nuclear submarine (fact) The ground around chernobyl is contaminated, but as someone correctly said, its the dust or gas that's deadly. The blast cloud swept over most of western europe after the explosion, so the ground is contaminated in lots of places. However most of the solid debris was cleared up as part of a big clean up operation, so unless you're very unlucky and inhaled airborne radioactive material or were exposed to the radiation over a long period of time you're relatively safe. It's also worth remembering the area evacuated was really big compared to the blast radius. It looks like they were right on the edge of the evacuation zone so whats to say a fence makes everything ok one side and deadly the other?? Edit: Fantastic vid, the taps and drops were huge, and the super steep hook was class. Brilliant edit as well guys, top notch!

I was about to make the same point as monkeyseemonkeydo. It would be interesting if people were to try boarding of any type, then report on whether the goofy or regular stance matches their trials stance! I'm right foot forward and what little boarding I've done is goofy stance

That's brilliant guys, super tech line and a brilliant intro/outro!

Is this now going to be 'trolled' with, as Dr. Doom so aptly said for my signature, 'illiterate f**kwits'? using every abbreviation ever? P.s. - this P.s. is here for irony
