  1. I only scraped in with my GCSE's to get into sixth form. Finished the first year with allright grades, quit after 3 weeks into the second year, and now earning more than most people my age doing CAD drawing for a local swimming pool company. You really need something to fall back on if you feel like your going to fail.
  2. How long have you been riding? Allmost 2 years now Favourite or dream bike? Inspired Fourplay frame, with everything off my Zoot Best place to ride? Abingdon, or Oxford Preferred brake set up? Disc front, Maggie rear Preferred size, 20" or 26"? 24", cus' I'm cool Favourite make or manufacturer? Zoo or Chris King How often do you ride? Every Saturday Best or favorite trick/move? 180 Pivot off at the moment, or rail riding, very funnn Bigggest gap? 5 ft Biggest drop? 4 ft Preferred ride(street, rocks, etc)? Streeeeeeeet What do you most want to be able to do on your bike? Bigger gaps. Helmet or not? Of courseeeee. (I never used to, but I allways do now)
  3. My god thats bright! Needs some nicer wheels on there
  4. That series is a good one. Really enjoyed reading them after having them recommended to me by a friend, these books are definalty worth a read.
  5. I use 22:18. Get on with it rather well. What would the rear sproket tooth need to be if I was running 18 up front? And as for tyres, I'm using a DMR Moto Digger 2.2 on the front, and a 2.5 Kenda Blue Groove at the rear.
  6. Tarty Bikes is the best. They give a good service, and are really helpful with everything. CRC, exactly the same story as tarty really, but they don't have that much trials related products on there apart from brakes/headsets etc. I've never used Selectbikes, but I don't remember hearing anything bad about them. Don't bother going to T-uk, the service is terrible, take a search for Trials UK, and look at all the threads about it.
  7. 2. Spam Minimum Penalty - 1 Warning Point Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts. Repeat offenders will be warned, and possibly moved into New Members Chat. Check bold.
  8. Just because this is "trials-forum", doesn't mean everything has to be about trials.
  9. He meant take it out, as there should be no selling/buying in NMC.
  10. Anyone ever been there, and seen any good spots to ride? I'm going there in a few weeks, and was wondering if it would be a good idea to take my bike or not.
  11. Oh my, that is nice! Didn't you have the Ciguana (sp?) before?
  12. I'm pretty sure this person/bot/whatever has done this 3 or 4 times...
  13. Lovely, might grab one of those when they're released
  14. Would they do the 1299 as a frame only? Or is it only being released as a full build?
  15. You haven't been joined for that long anyway... Follow the rules, and you'll get validated in no time. trust. (key to this is to find someone who need help, and you know what to do to help them, and post a good reply with good spelling and punctuation, allways capitalise at the start of a sentance, and I etc..)
  16. Ahh, yeah, mod would be a bit small. My freind has a Phase 1.3 stock, I prefer 24" as I couldn't get the balance point on the back wheel of his bike. Apart from that I've only ridden my mod, and my other freinds mod (which is terrible, it's still got a 20" back wheel bless him) How far are you off of a full build as of now?
  17. Have a look at the new Onza mod range seen here. They're good bikes for the price. And as your new to trials, a mod would be perfect to get you started. When I've been to North Wales (Prestatyn/Rhyl area) I've never seen any trials riders Allways take my bike with me when I go though. Heard my mum talking about she wanted to go up there to see my grandma in a few weeks, you can try out my Zoot if you like? (24") msn is on my profile if you want to talk more about that edit: just been a bit of a silly and seen that you've bought a bike to build up. Ignore that first bit
