  1. The ENO has been around since i started trials back in like 2002. I've never personally owned one, but it was the number one choice for a freewheel and never really heard anything bad. I did run a Tensile 60 click on my 05 python and it was amazing, never skipped or anything. I think freehubs are the way forward. So i would recommend a CK BMX hub, Profile or Pro2. 48 engagement points (pro2 & profile) is more than adequate, all of the big riders use pro2's. 72 and 108 or whatever is just silly. Get some leg power But if you wanna choose a freewheel, all this new stuff that was engineered past 2006 is shit, stick to the roots and get a White Industries Eno.
  2. This is the Pavel i remember. He was so amazing
  3. If you can drive, Stoke-On-Trent/Newcastle-Under-Lyme/Keele University are all in the same city (10 mile radius) which are all amazing places to ride and only around a 40 minute drive from you.
  4. Still don't understand this whole weight thing. Back in the day my bike was like 14kg, double wall undrilled rims front and back and dual ply tyres front and back and still threw it up 50" sidehops, 9ft to front etc. Get whatever you like the look of and can afford. If weights an issue, hit the gym and get stronger

  7. Please let me buy your brakes! Classic ride, as the others have said, don't spray her!
  8. Been out the game a long time. I used to run a truvativ gigapipe DH Isis bb. Now I'm gonna be running a pro2 with a fixed cog on my cranks. Would I only need a 113mm spindle or do I need the longer one ? Also how do you determine what shells size I need ? 68 or 73mm? Sorry for the nooby posts lately. I've just forgot everything lol. Frame is 06 echo control long if that helps
  9. What kinda feedback have tarty had mark ? You had many returned or heard alot about them cracking/snapping ?
  10. Looking at getting a set of these forks. As i need V brake forks and unsure what to go for as Ive been out of the game for a few years. Are these strong? Like the strongest available? weight doesnt matter to me. People cracked them yet etc ? If so what else should i get ? Cheers, Danny

  12. My ankles went though hell and back in the 10 years i rode trials, I broke each one 3 times. I have 2 plates and 6 pins in the left and 3 plates and 8 pins in the right. After the last time, I was told there's a chance I may never walk again if i break one of my feet again, so I stopped riding for a good while and underwent some serious physio for both ankles and did alot of strength training, after that i wore ankle braces on both ankles for 12 months or so when i got back on a bike and I never really had much trouble. I've been off a bike for 3 years now, getting back on one again next year, I imagine they should be fine still. I do alot of running and training day to day anyways. Also, out of curiosity, Hows your weight and build? Being overweight plays hell on the joints, especially after any damage and also at an older age. So if your carrying a little more weight than you should be, hit the gym or some high intensity circuit training and improve your fitness and weight. I also found drinking alot of milk to increase bone strength and also eating high protein foods to strengthen muscles. This is as much a sport as any and Physique and diet are just as important than that of a Boxer or Football player. If you really want some professional help, there's a guy on here (If he still uses the forum) called Si the Physio, He's dealt with myself and alot of big name riders in the past to help them through injuries etc.
  13. Anyone under the age of 16 IMO. When a transaction is being done. If the seller is under 16, the buyer must be given, a landline phone number(If applicable), parents names and mobile numbers of parents and a full address and postcode. As a seller I would always reassure buyers buy proving MY full address and mobile number. It's always difficult on forums and with second hand items being sold. However, I'm on a couple of other forums and how it works on there is: ANY for sale or wanted post has to be approved by a moderator/admin ALL topics have to be posted with recent, high quality pictures (If selling) ALL topics have to specify location of the item (I.E - Oxford, Birmingham etc) ALL topics have to have a price for each item. Another thing I would suggest, is that all discussion of buying or selling the item has to be done in the topic and PM's should only be used at the end to provide address and phone numbers (I can understand people being uncomfortable about publicly posting there address and phone number for everyone to see. I know this would require alot more Moderation, in which case, make another 2-3 moderators, people who are really active on the forum and post alot. Problem solved IMO.
  14. Phil Ive got some old stuff of you, Will upload when i get a chance
  15. Yeah. I did what 95% of children who were born in the early 90's did. Play video games, Then i discovered trials at around 11 and rode from there, still playing video games but not as much. Memories are a good thing and by listening the these soundtracks, It takes you back a few years and just brings back some good memories. It doesn't really make a difference though tbf, You chose your path and what to do when you were younger, I chose mine. I don't just sit there all day listening to them, My job allows me to have my Ipod on all day, so I'm always listening to music.
  16. Thanks for clearing that up. It was a rough guess
  17. I still have my all my old consoles set up and play them often, these new games are nowhere near as good. Got my PS1, PS2 and Original Xbox, Sega Megadrive too but thats broke.
