  1. Yeah Sick definitely up for that, I will be down there
  2. ohh goodo, take him up the A38 too so I can get down as long as no more nobs crash
  3. If the sun comes out with some melting power I'll be there
  4. Yeah my mates got one on his mod, its pretty damn good just wanted to check , i want one now and no one has a hope up. Halfords tomorrow me thinks, cheers guys
  5. I'm trying, its my first option but can find anyone selling one now
  6. Got a front V at the moment and going to disc, got a mate who has a bikehut (halfords) front hydro and its really good. Just wanting to know the general view on them if its a random one off or they actually are that good. Also if anyone has a better disc for sale for 50-60 quid feel free to message or phone me, in need of it before christmas eve so I can ride Plymouth! Jon 07716175671 Cheers guys in advance
  7. I have some avid juicy disc brakes on my MTB and need to bleed them tonight but have no oil. I know people use maguras on water. Will that work with hydro discs??
  8. you press the lever and each caliper would move half as much, so you would have so little travel on the pads, but if that travel was enough the pads would have the same force on the disc, just double the braking area, therefore would produce more brakeing, but only from the frictional area not actually the hydraulic power
  9. man thes nothing wrong with a full sus DHer, thats my first love of bikes lol. yeah iv just started on 26, but i aint a small child. probably harder for the basics, but with a bit of determination the basics will come with time, the ride free!
  10. i rode my mates mod and also stock, mod seems a lot more natural and easier to move, but iv just bought a stock monty, hoping it will be better in the long run with the ability of a bigger variety of uses
  11. were a helmet and live, dont and die. If you ride properly your gunna fall off, therefore will have a head bang at some point. i say your pretty damn sily. concrete is harder than bone
  12. 24s are pretty rare out there at the moment, hard to find, those who have them want to keep them. Iv heard there actually harder than 26. or try a modstock if you want somthing bit more manoverable
  13. So basically im a student, and love biking. ride hardtail downhill usually but really want to get into trials. I want to ride 26inch as im used to that more. Needing a (fairly basic) bike for as little as possible. any ideas on where this can happen?
  14. really looks nice, if i had the cash i would build identical. you think front discs are worth it, not scared about damaging it?
