I used to do this that was untill i snapped my brake mounts and i didnt have a front brake for a month or two. after that i never did it again and i have to say that it makes no difference what so ever

check the rear hub because this happened to me and i took it apart and it was all bent inside the hubshell. it was like an oval shape instead of a curcle. this caused the axel to moove which lead to my chain doing what yours does. have a look and see if thats why

on the comments in the video the guy says "it DOES have a pivot behind the BB, my feet just cover it."
