Hi been as the post couple of months some bikes have been stolen . 1) Tip 1 buy a heavy duty chain ( motorbike chain ) 2) Concrete a ring in the floor for the lock 3) Always keep it safe near the house and you 4) Keep your shed or whatever you keep it in secure at all times . And remember all your bikes are major purchases so keep them safe . Keep them out of site and safe . Feel free to comment and add Hope this helps Josh...

there should be a plastic thing on the outside of the pedal (pop it out ) then hold the pedal and tighten the bolt where the plastic stopper use to be that might work
