Yea, they must have came from england at one time. A lot of the boys on OTN seem to use tarty etc

Contact the guys at www.supercycles.co.uk as I think they are basically Onza. There is a half price crash replacment policy on all onza/tensile stuff I believe. If its a serious manifacturing defect and can clearly be seen (bubbles in metal etc) then it should be a free replacment. onza are good guys to deal with regarding this stuff.

Bearings stop the flex and its usually flex that causes fudged ratchet rings etc.

Welds pretty strong stuff Will, I bet the World will end before that would freewheel again!

Nights Are Getting Longer, Days Are Getting Shorter

Cerial consumption was all going to plan until I read that, too funny! -
Like Mark said, take it easy and let it cool after doing a small section. Have it so the freewheel is engaged as best as it can before welding as the pawls will be doing a good bit of the holding.

A lot of people have pussied about it in this post but think about it... you/your friend (i dont give a f**k) have driven a car being under age (ticks a DJ box) without a licence (ticks another DJ box there) and uninsured (another DJ box plus a box that puts everyones insurence up) You/your friend could have been out illegally driving and all of a sudden Becky is attached to the bumper... you/your friend will have injured/killed someone be it Becky or any other pedestrian/driver. There's a reason why you arent allowed ont he road before you have a licence... because you have f**k all experiance. I had competed in autotest, hill climbs and track days from I was 14 solidly until I was 16 and occasionly now aswell and I had so much to learn on how to drive 'properly' and getting rid of bad habbits. Someone without any experiance is at a high risk of causing an accident, killing somone, hurting someone or just generally f**king some innocent fanny that has insured thier car and holds a licence's day up (me/public). You may have a licence and your friend may have one soon... he/you will wonder why the f**k his insurence is so dear won't he?... yes, it comes down to theft, proper accidents and a major contributor is UNINSURED wankers!

Less production, machinery needed so maybe more saving passed to the consumer?

I had the light clutch thing on mine, didn't cause the prob;lems you said but then mine might not have been as bad. Did leave me stranded with no way of getting it into gear. The clutch master cylinder seal had given out making it leak pretty rapidly (over the course of day the pedal didn't feel right). You can tell if its leaking pretty easy, take your window washer bottle out (lift up) and you will see the master cylinder and a little rod coming out of it, check the rod and around there for fluid. If this is the leaking then it will be around £10-15 for a new master cylinder and a few quid for some fluid. Not hard to fit either, once you see it you will understand.

They're 45mm so just under a koxx rim. Measure between the pads and see if you have the clearence.

If you have Trials-UK in your sig its cheap... and Dan pushes the 'VIZ' button. 'all VIZ riders report to VIZ related topic and BUM!'
-
Look forward to that, sound interesting with the 12mm pawls.
-
On paper they sound just as good, all depends if you want that dicky head doctor thing from the hope or not?

I see where your coming from Mark, If I had the money I would love to test one...
-
Good man, best frame I've bought since a TA26 and I have had A LOT of frames since then!
-
Mark I think you also need to remember that everything was once untested. The profile has only recently been regarded as 'tried and tested', the first person with one was taking a chance with this 'untested for trials' hub. I'd say give it time, it may well be a profile killer at just over half the price with almost double the engagments it may even phase the king out... who knows... ADAM: I wouldn't mind seeing inside of one of these. Any chance of some pictures of the pawl and ratchet mechanism Adam if you have one to hand? I think the Tartybikes team using these, especially that power house DW... if it lasted with them HUGE gaps I think even Mark would be a believer in these.

I saved £400 on mine from looking at internet insurer's to scouring the yellow pages for local ones. £400 is a lot of dosh for an hour with the phone... (Y)
-
Just call your old insurer when they open again and ask for proof of no claims. They will send you a letter with it stated that you then post on to your new insurer.

Well thanks for the help and I think I will opt for the Fuji FinePix S7000. Seems to be the best sort of thing for my needs without getting super over complicated. Another wee question, for my wee nikon I need for find a good make of AA rechargable batteries, every ones I have bought don't last at all even with display turned off etc. I didn't want to chance it with the dearer ones as I didn't really know what I was after. Any suggestions?

Well thats all a bit gay lol. Seen a few on ebay around the £220-300 mark but I take it they were just SLR looking cameras.. Im not fussed if it looks all professional as long as it takes good images really. Don't want to up the budget as its a toss up between a camera and a king... if cameras too dear then the king wins. Like I said second hand doesn't bother me at all so if theres good cameras in that budget second hand i'd be up for them.
-
Well I am looking a new camera as my old Nikon coolpix 2100 has seen better days after 3 years of trials/holidays/trackdays etc. I would like a camera that won't hold any photography skills I may have back. It would have to be digital and I think what Im after is one of these SLR cameras. But then I know nothing about whats available so I will leave it to you guys to advise me. Have about £300 to spend, also don't mind second hand etc.

say 55mm bb rise then have a bar height about 55mm higher than normal. -
Could contribute to the better grinding abilities..
