Same with me I suppose, I've been hillclimbing, autotesting and competing in track days since I was 15 so I have naturally wanted to get my liscence as soon as. Started as soon as I turned 17...been driving coming up a year very soon...

In the gun industry all steel is blued as it can't be anodised. Blueing spokes would be amazingly costly meaning it is most likely paint and therefore needs to be slightly smaller in diameter before paint.

They're steel though aren't they? Couldn't be anodised if they are. I doubt they're blued so must be painted/powder coated.

No hoses to clip though. Quite a few people I know have had to cut rides short because of a hose hitting something or pulling out. Vee's are better in my mind.. just need some adaptors for this frame!

When I used the bucket of water bleed I put my finger over the hole in the lever when I was pumping the lever and on the lever return I took it off to allow water in. Do up all the bolts under water and you will have an amazing bleed.

You should be a happy man, that was truely amazing. Get to ALL the rides and make yourself a DVD. I think with work like that and and a few select (not bikes (Y) ) riders you could have something even I would purchase! (stingy git)

Loving the top one... really is my style of car and the wheels are AMAZING. I have a Mini but would soon like an old GTE or a corolla GT coupe. They compomotive wheels in the first pic. They look amazing in my opinion. What spec motor was in the GTE by the end of its life with you?

I've had mine about a week and had a 05 Pitbull long previous to that and I though the pitbull ride nice but the echo is just in a different league. My ups have became less effort for more performance, again my gaps are around the same with a big change to my technique because of the bb rise and my sidehops have became a lot more confident and feel easier. It gives me the feeling of lifting the rear of the bike up is a lot easier or less to travel. To me its the perfect compromise between a long and short bike as it doesn't feel massively lying down kind of long and is really flicky like a short bike. I have changed frames a LOT this year and I honestly don't think I will ever want rid of this.

What have you your RB bled with? As a standard magura body with oil is pretty sluggish but with water/lighter oil is very snappy.

My b26d had something like 16 inch stays, 45mm bb drop! with orange forks. A 1055 wheelbase with said forks. All together it was a bag of shite. Look for a base ta26, around 160 and ride amazing. Raub has one on the forsale section in sexy black for £80

Putting the can in some warm water around 5 mins before you use it will help the paint spray more evenly. (not boiling just what you could bare on your hand)

Loved that, so much speed and agression in your riding but then you slip across rocks so smooth its unreal. Your one great all round rider.

Trust me though, it does leave a residue. Im not wanting to argue but I am certain of it. Do a test if you don't believe me, clean a rim with white spirit and one with methelated spirit. You can notice the difference.

Tell your mate to try wiping it again with something that degreases... i bet my ballbag its a lot better.
