That doesnt really help anyone then does it? I'd rather give money to nike for some to get to a charity than be proud of getting them for free. You say up above the subjects such as poverty you feel strongly about... then you say you got them for free... :D

Looking good, should get some black paint them forks. Think it would set the bke off lovely. :D
-
Strength I don't think will be a problem, feels sevral times stiffer than my previous frame (levelboss) even with very skinny tubing.
-
Lol, i'm not a fan of the seat myself but it looks worse without it. Yea Joe, I swapped Dan it for my levelboss as I couldnt get along with it. Ben, the bb is zero drop and with regards to the back end, its longer than my levelboss but in whole the bike rodes closer to what my base did and thats what I was after (nicer on back wheel than my base)

Right, something to cut the bordom. If you could have a team of 5 riders to promote your company, who would they be? Mine would be: Ali C (from videos he seems like a VERY underatted rider) Waynio (yet again the same, seen Encounters and it opened my eye to trials) TRA, he's simply a beast that front a company product very well. Prawn (seen a video recently and think he's a very good rider) Tim Steadman (from video's i've seen I reckon he would do well representing the company) Thats my list, not exactly all the big massive gap drop kind of people and the most UCI based selection. Just a handful of some riders I would personally class as my favourite.

Best just asking down at your local post office. Get the theory done as soon as you can, you may find it will be the one thing that slows your progress down. ( do it before you start lessons even?)

I say go for it now, mini's are getting increasingly harder to find and more expensive by the day (at least they are here). I would probably go for the 1275 if i was you, I will be very soon as insurance isnt going to be all that much dearer when I asked. 998cc's can be modified fairly well to give some surprising performance if thats what you after.
-
I got a 1982 Mini 998cc and insured it for £562 for proper road driving (not classic ornament) I'm only 18 and live in Belfast, Northern Ireland. A rough idea of other quotes I had were: 93 1.2 Corsa, 5 door and bottom of the range. 3rd party F&T was £2600. Mini is the way to go mate, but be prepared to get mucky as they good need regular maintaince.

Fair enough, like this post im making, that one of your was completely useless but I don't like sitting back and people like you acting the smart arse wanker. f**k sake. Because Jon Mac is suspended doesn't mean you have to take his place.

Looks good, what rear hubs that?
-
Yuck, we have them in work. They're not a small needly either. :ermm:
-
Tut tut Tarty, not really on the ball today :P That don't impresssss meeeeeeee much! :ermm:"
-
So thats how they came across it? I read on one Onzaboymarks posts that there was very little material. Are all of the new koxx pads like this? Or just certain colours? sorry :S Will give the Tarty pads a try when they show up, looking forward to that.
-
Well I meant he tried making some for the softer rim types, Just as koxx have too with all the new pads. What ever happened to the tarty pads, they looked really promising. Always wanted to give a set a go.

Try setting you brake up properly. There is quite a few things that can contribute to a working brake. Pad choice if only one of them. Other things to consider are: Actual brake set-up Is it bled properly Flex in the frame (using a booster ?) Rim choice, as a koxx/viz rim will work SHIT with a pad that will work well on an echo/onza ronnie/alex rim. Is the grind done properly? Depending on grinding discs and techniques you can make a right 'henry halls' of it then blame the pads. Heatinks/Koxx bloxx get shit reviews from a lot of people who use koxx/viz rims. This is because as originally stated these pads are quite hard and really do need a rim with harder material.

I watched football factory the other day, thought it was a really well done film even though I don't really agree with the theme of it.

Cheers, thats all I need to know. Can close this if you wish.

Ok, I know there is a FAQ on how to measure spoke lengths but i'm in college and need to run to get spokes on my lunch so will have no access to the hub to get measurements. I need to get this wheel built for 6 o'clock so I can go riding too. I have a hope sport and wish to build it onto a d521, I know from the hope site XC on 521 before the spoke length is 258.8/259.2 for 3x but i am unsure as to wether the sport is the same size flange/spacing as the xc. If you happen to know for sure is the xc spokes will do or what the lengths should be it would be well appreciated. If you have any comments on using the FAQ, please read above then keep them to yourself cheers

Get a mate to have a wee ride on your bike. Everyone notices bent cranks/bb's when they get on other peoples bikes.
-
I actually really like the look of the woodman frames, 26&20. Looks well
-
Are they the first batch or something? Heard of a few doing that. You do need 100% confidence in your rear brake. Getting some heatsinks will give you that.
-
Whys it pointless? What makes 47mm with magic number? Surely a few years ago anything over 32-38mm was pointless... now the majority run 38mm at the least. I say give it a chance, if it doesn't weigh too much then stability will be improved along with grip with not a lot of weight added.

Sounds great, wish I could go. I think you have covered everything apart from on thing, grub... You say its a bit from a train station so i'm just guessing there might not be many amenities close by for food. A little stall set up by you with burgers/crisps/drink would make a bit of money to go to the DJ fund. Also a lot of riders will thanks you for it if your profit margains aren't too much more than what it costs you. I think the mototrials system would be best if the sections weren't too far apart and people were clearly notified of the rules. All the best with it mate, hope it all goes well.
