I really don't think the bike will benefit you in any way, You can do everything on a short bike but a long bike makes the things you want to do (bunnyhop/manual) that bit more awkward. I think you should stay with the ET for a while see how it goes as you may regret getting rid of it to buy a bus. You say its only 30mm but as you know that really means very little. TT length, head angle etc need to be taken into consideration. Edit: Correction

They can compare the two and state strengths and weakenesses but can not blatently state thier frame is better than the XTP.

Hey Nick, I want to keep the 10's and a set of cooper 's' discs, callipers, shafts and all the gear from a mate is only costing me £150. The callipers need a bit of a clean but all structurally sound. I have a 1982 998cc at the mo so i'm shopping round and finding info on what motor would be best. Been having a thought about suspension too. I wouldn't mind having something adjustable with not too much hassle. If I was doing a lot of country road travelling etc. What would I be best with for that kind of thing? prices etc would be great...

I have always used water apart from a VERY short spell over the winter. I thought I may put oil in to prevent freezing etc. went out riding, brake felt disgusting but I thought to myself, nah you'll get used to it. Nope after the next ride out came the oil and in went the water. I also find it gives it a more solid lever feel... and yes I can bleed a brake properly.

I'd say around +20mm bb rise would be best as zero drop on 24's probably wouldnt be the best thing. Everything else sounds like it should work though.

I liked it, we have to get a video of aaron riding properly. That doesn't show anything. That was two strange bikes, one being his BRAND new mod and the other being gary at bikedocks pitbull. I think he done pretty well considering.

I think you would be better geiing on to the council about getting something knocked up by normal contractors and the likes of council designers who make the town centres that we all love to ride. Good luck with it.
