  1. I have a giro semi mx and have hit it quite a lot (had it nearly two years, scary :( ) But in trials I would imagine our crashes are on a much smaller scale to even XC where you could be travelling at 30mph and tuble a right old with with a bike beating you at the same time. You will in theory get more use of a bmx style helmet being hard plastic etc but any falls (even the tooth breaker) have only put the smallest of dents in my helmet. I would imagine it would still definately protect me for all I will need it for. I find the giro nice and light compared to my 661 carbon pisspot i have for the bmx but it may just be the feel of it..

Yea, I heard the same. Back when every one rode brisas and pashleys for natural&street... All this seperation is gay.

    Tell that to Bongo.
  5. Never used ISIS for trials, but have on a street bike once upon a time. They seem margainelly stiffer but not loads. I suppose it depends on the cranks. My square taper 'burns must be coming on 4 year old and tapers are still in good conditions so strength issues of tapers can't really be a problem. Snapped a bb or two but always been lucky enough to miss it with my leg. I used a set of 3 piece cranks on my trials bike for a while. I really didn't notice any difference until I put my 'burns back on... Dear me it felt like my frame/rear axle/spokes were all made of rubber. Felt like all my power was getting ate up by the cranks. If you want new cranks I would say go 3 piece. People think they weight a tonne but not all of them do. Also worrys about the bearings but in experience they last as long as ISIS. Bearings are easy replaced. When I get my Curtis I think I will be going for some again. They just didn't fit in with the spec on my levelboss or I would still be using them. Point of all that blabber is... both square and ISIS have their pro's and con's but I prefer 3 piece cranks to both...

Some nice riding mate, Lovely bike too :D STEVE-O, that wasn't nice now was it?
  7. They come specced on the bikes that JJB sell, such as the saracen and barracuda range.
  8. Snap, I'll be doing nothing. Quite a big thing over here but not my scene.
  9. You don't want to be listening to these guys with the LHM as it takes a decade for the lever to return. I'm not sure about your brake but I have bled mine and a mates brake with water and they both have needed nothing done with them in over a year. Water could even be slowly leaking out of the hole in the lever where you put the barbed bleed connector in? Some locktite on the threads stopped my old magura doing that (was with oil but same situation, leaking really slowly)
  10. Big and stickyouttie...
  11. I run a 68*122.5 un53 in my t-pro. Cranks are echo with an ACS claw and no bash ring. Plenty of freewheel/bb clearence.
  12. That looks like an albino woodlouse..

    Fiesta Gear Box

A shagged clutch can lead to selection of gears being gay.. Does the clutch pedal sit any higher than the brake? Also how far does it travel before biting?
  14. Looks good, take it the other guys copied the blue Coust idea? Looks a bit crowded round there, maybe take turns at different places? :D I'm not that silly. :"> Looks like a nice wee ride you had, loving the camera work too :S Blue Coust looks lovely (Y)
  15. Could you even limit the amount of downloads per day on certain files such as TM1 and other files of similar size?
  16. You really deserve a medal, the effort you put into trials-shack and dedication you have for it is unreal. BIG (Y) Like some people have said, to solve bandwidth problems why not make users register. I know people complain about eengoddee (sp?) but the majority that do are usually lazy newbies. It does not take long for people to sign up for an account and with IP logging you could make sure people don't rip the piss and make loads of accounts. This would almost definately save a lot on bandwidth. A download limit of even 5 vids a day would almost certainly still save you a lot of bandwidth as there usually isn't even 5 videos a day to download so I can't see people having a problem with that. This is just my view on it, im sure the selfish people who hate the hassle of registering will argue me down. Anyway, like people say, 'don't look a gift hourse in the mouth'

    What To Do.....

Slow returning is usually down to crap round the pistons themselves. I just took the pads out, scrubbed round it with water and an old toothbrush. I then just pulled the lever to get the pistons to come out as far as i could then rubbed some magura fluid round the piston. Worked as new ever since..
  18. Nice, would be interesting to see how well it works.. Was making it hard, I have no idea how you would go about making that.. Do you just lay sheets of the the material and coat it in resin or do you need to pressurize it or heat in anyway? Be good to know a bit more about it, looks interesting. (Y) edit: spelling
  19. Well it said there was a branch then the log so he really couldn't have avoided it. Meaning it was really inevitable hitting it. .......<branch>.......<log> thats what I got from the news report. Lets hope something good comes of this and people see how serious hitting your head can be. To all them riders that don't wear helmets. Suppose this is your lesson.
  20. Im sure they have thier own little advantages but the ZOO's are lovely bars. Couldn't really fault them.
  21. Its as bad as lacing a football pitch with landmines but they don't seem to realise what they're doing and the danger they cause. Unlucky to that guy that he had to be the victim of it. We have some stupid people in society and if they knew exactly what they were doing we have some thoughtless dangerous people. They should be shunned from society.
  22. Meh, best grips in the world... bar none :S :S I actually like that, I didn't in the last topic of frame only. Good job :)
