  1. Could be.. Echo CNC'd mod rim would be same width as a ronnie etc? I have an Echo on my mod and its definately a lot narrower than the one that i had in the base... Edit: got some evidence :ermm: Link
  2. He runs a 36h king bmx though, Echo's only come in 32 or vise versa...
  3. Yea deffo, I still have it laying somewhere int he house. Can measure/take a pic later but im positive its a koxx rim. Cheezy material and same width as my new koxx rim...

  5. You can get a 47mm Koxx/Viz rim in with no problems with brake setting upp and tyre clearence. I had one in my base with a 2.5 Michelin comp 24. Picture in Sig

    Rear Tyre

Hey, your new tyre should definately fit, I run a 47mm koxx rim with a Minion ST 2.5 and never rubbed, has a wee bit of room to spare. edit: thats in a levelboss
  7. For as long as needs be... They snap or I suppose 8-12 months with someone like Sir Porter behind them. Edit: 8-12 months maybe a bit long but you get the idea...
  8. Its all about fatigue though, also different forces being put on the forks. Braking forces, sharp braking forces in trials. Backwards stress from hooks, lots of instant stress coming from the front with bumps. The only way to test all these is with riders...
  9. Dan, I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of these mod forks, like real good quality pictures of the crown/steerer arrangment. Im slightly wary when it comes to forks as I have had bad experiances. Once bitten twice shy and all that. Also whats a rough figure of weight?

    New Rims

The tioga's seem to be fairly good according to US riders. www.chainreactioncycles.com sell themf or something like £26.99 amd if your getting two then free delivery...
  11. Hey Alex, I assume you have loosened the bolts? Don't get exactly what you mean. If you need the pads closer just loosen everything off fully and move the rubber thing that helps hold the cylinder in the mount. Then push the pad as close to the rim as possible, then that little thing that rests against the frame, loosen the bolt off (if not already) and get it to touch the frame then tighten this a bit (just until it wont move but the cylinder can still move a bit). Now just hold your finger at the back of the cylinder and pump the lever not letting the pads push away from the rim just letting it get straight.. Hope thats what you need.
  12. Mine is of the wallet out of Pump Fiction, the wee bit of writing is what I was when i wrote that, out of date now as is my sig pic AND username lol
  13. Still doesn't give the guy the right to do that...
  14. Are you actually blind? Chavs START fights, acting in self defense if a different matter... I don't condone fighting but I do not go for all this sit back and pussy nonsense...
  15. (Y) this is a face of disappointment.....
  16. You should try spinning the wheel on its own so see if it freewheels smoothly and not slowing down real quick.
  17. Thing is though its assult any way you look at it, it cant be classed as self defence so therefore he could be arrested and charged. He could push for tresspassing for riding on the loading bay but unless there are signs stating so he will get nowhere. You don't have the right to assult someone because they aggravated you, thats when you walk away laughing as they have obviously broken the law. Video evidence shows ctc-666 intended to piss the guy off but it the elderly shit couldn't have seen his arse before he assulted him. Face it, he could have killed him!
  18. Unless he have his bearings awfully tight ( i don't know if kings can go too tight?) or lower tyre pressure...
  19. Thing is though thats assult, and with video evidence he could face a small prison sentence or a hefty fine seeing it was premedited (he obviously intended to do it). I really wouldn't take, I would show someone the video and get that waste of space dealt with...
  20. I can break forks, im not saying this to get free forks but i am actually VERY interested in seeing if a set of bonded forks can hold up...
  21. Whens the last time u heard of a trials rider stealing a car, mugging someone or ganging up on inncoent bystanders? My point is that they picked on us even though there was blatently a bigger crime being comitted 100yards away in front of thier car..
  22. Theyre a good reliable quick car, just wish mine had power steering :)
  23. Mr Koxx I disagree with you a lot. It is harassment. It happened to us 2 weeks ago. If it was persued we would of had criminal records (those that didn't anyway). One of the riders is aiming to be in the police very soon and anything like that could damage his chances of a career. The newspaper thing would porbably be the best way to go about it as they support demo's in an area and if your doing the same thing the next day you are harassed. The incident with us was because a rider Daryl was riding along a rail, he was then told it was vandalism because he had to use a bench to get to the rail. The police officer then told him that people who wish to sit on it couldn't. Thing is though, around 100yards away was an alcoholic sitting pissing himself on a bench. When the officer was asked what he was going to do about that he hummed and haad it off. Its harassment when people obviously comitting a crime are not spoken to (drinking in a public place, loitering) and a bunch of people enjoying thier sport are moved on, names taken and treatened to be arrested.
