  1. woahh its been a while since i was on here

  2. I used to have rhyno lites and they worked the same Im also already using offset mounts. They do nothing to move the brakes inwards whatsoever May have to bite the bullet and get a new rim
  3. basically, i bought an echo pure 2012 off my friend and built it up with bits i had in shed. running a hs33 on rear with onza citrus pads on a mavic ex721 rim with light grind. but i think my rims too narrow as it doesnt really have the hold id hoped for. now the question is, are there any uber thick brake pads out there? or another way to move the brake inwards so that i dont have to get a new rim and get it rebuilt? many thanks luke
  4. most people use a hacksaw or a dremel and cut a groove in the head so that a flat ended screwdriver can be used. After this however, i would definately replace the bolts with new ones hope this helps
  5. he's looking for fixed as he runs a hope pro2 trials at the rear

  7. awesome, thank you all kindly for all your help,im going to go find me a hub now from all your advice, probably a pro 2 once funds are in thanks again, luke
  8. i didnt ask who had started with a king hub, only stated that i cant afford one
  9. i've considered this but it seems like a huge investment for someone like me who's just started trials, and i'd probably go for the pro 2 trials anyways as its warrantied for trials use. but still 130 pounds ish, still seems quite steep for a beginner are there any half decent hubs out there that wont break my bank balance, im still a student so dont get much fundings
  10. i've thought about changing my drive setup, but i also wanted my wheels to be compatable with all my bikes, just incase i decide to tinker about might have to invest though if anyone can state that it#s more reliable, as its not like im lacking in ground clearance anyways and the first time it happened, i did think someone had removed them as there was nothing, just bone dry hub shell. whereas the second time i had one and a half springs left, and there was only me around my bike :/ i thought about the pro 2 trials, but im currently lacking the fundings thanks for the help so far any future input will be greatly appreciated EDIT: forgot to mention, it would also help keeping stock style drive as ive just ordered a set of middleburns for my drive, and have the chainring/bashguard necessary already
  11. i usually use puncture repair kit glue works a treat and dissolves using wd40 job done
  12. hey there, i keep having a problem with my rear hub; I'm currently using a hope bulb, but for some reason, every so often the pawls and spring seem to just "disappear", it's really strange. I've had the hub inspected but theres nothing inside the hub that could cause this, and ive bought new pawls and springs every time. Has anyone else had problems like this? was hoping to try and look on here for a new hub but i didnt realise at first you need to be validated ah well, my time will come. and can anyone recommend me a new hub to use? i need something moderately priced, with freehub (not fixed) and have disc mounts. Thanks in advance guys, luke
  13. does anyone know, or like to cast their opinion upon, whether i should bother to weld my saracen mad? i cracked the chainstay today and was wondering if its even worth it, as with it being alloy, its a sort of specialist job if i choose not to weld it, i was wondering if i should move from 26" to 24", as i havent been riding trials that long so i havent really gotten used to a particular size just yet. if this change occurs, does anyone know of a good 24" trials frame for a small budget of around 100 pounds? second hand of course thanks guys
  14. interested in your 04 MAD frame, im very interested, e-mail me and we'll negotiate
