  1. I've heard about quite a few snapping.
  2. Erm yes? In my experience they're better on the front than they are on the rear. Set them up well, good bleed etc, and they'll work orite.
  3. Go through the ticket barrier, take your first left, theres Like a McDonalds, subway etc. go all the way through there, out the doors at the bottom, cross the big road, and there's some granite walls
  4. Short for natty, they are more manoeuvrable and fit on small rocks. Long for street, and think you'd be pretty stretched out on a long as I'm about same size as you, and anything over like 1030 is too long for me. Or be cool and get an Ice- there good for natty and street
  5. Ginger Dan? I didn't think they were that amazing either ha
  6. It's all about technique. If you hold the grinder at a shallow angle, and don't apply much force against the rim, it's gonna be a light grind. For a harsh grind, you gotta hold it at a steep angle, and push into the rim as well as going round, if you get me? If you can get hold of some old rims/wheels, practice on there first EDIT: Remember, new cutting discs are always better. And a thinner cutting disc is generally better, but a thicker grinding disc is better for harsh grinds. Only when new, though as after a while they go blunt.
  7. Use a nail/punch and a hammer, they're generally pretty tight.. or most of mine were anyway
  8. Nice, but fake monty white lines I thought it was mikey Cs then saw it was from ukraine haha
  9. Turn the TPA all the way out when bleeding? If not, there could be a leak you're not noticing, or you aren't bleeding right?
  10. I got mine for £20, mint condition with a KMC chain and a try all BB. But I think you could get about £40 at a push.
  11. You're right. Like, a sky frame is like £780. If you've got that sort of money lying around, then you might as well add another grand and get the whole shabbang. the brakes alone are more than 300, so when you add it all up, it definitely works out cheaper.
  12. He's already a world champ.. won the World youth games or somethin' in Belgium a few months back
  13. Same for me. Like I'm with this one girl now, but her dad is really possessive, won't let her out of his sight unless he knows exactly where she's going etc.. Only time I see her is at school, and when she's at her mates occasionally. Another girl lived miles away, another didn't want me to ride or drink or any of that dangerous stuff... I wish I could find a girl who was perfect, but that's not gonna happen
  14. Ring, tis lighter, stronger, and more protection against spikey rocks
  15. Erm that was because the frame was shite and you couldn't get a decent setup no matter how hard you tried? and the lites brake was actually mint. I do have a bike, just my freewheel skips like a beetch so I'd rather not loose my teeth and I bet it rides mint, but you cannot bleed brakes at all, like when you paid me £15 and your shittily bled brake for my perfectly bled one? and you complain about Phat Pads when they're actually quality.. AND on that leeds ride you couldn't set up callums brake right, so just left me to do it?
  16. I've always noticed this with Tarty... They're pretty quick to get stuff back in though, and you know Tarty are one of the only reliable trials specific bike shops around..
  17. I was only passing on what others had said.. And I never really had a problem with the Mono Trial levers, neither did most of the other people who had them. Either way, I'd rather pay half the cost of a hope brake and go with an Avid cable.. More reliable, you can't pop it, it can't leak etc etc.
  18. i've seen this before.. Of course it works, but why use something not designed for HS33 pistons when there is a perfectly adequate lever already? Seems silly, and a waste of time/money. Also, theres this little kid in my town with a front hope disc, with a maggie lever. Works, but works shit
  19. One is to adjust the lever, and the other is like a TPA? I think? and it has two diaphragms, so can be used left or right hand. In all honesty, they are just a way for hope to make more money; they don't have to produce left/right hand levers, so cheaper manufacturing costs. Also, because the lever is so tech, when bleeding pockets of air get trapped. And all the people I know who have used them, front and rear, including world class riders, say they are just generally shite, so went back to mono trial levers. And to top it all off, they're more expensive than the original lever, which no one had a problem with. Why upgrade something that doesn't need upgrading? Waste of money if you ask me
  20. http://www.trialsman.co.uk/products.asp?cat=37 same as the ones on the Sky..
  21. Tis where they all crack, everyone I know with Kopiles have cracked at the brake mounts Erm, Bullsh*t? you can't set brakes up at all, then complain your pads are rubbish lmao. Even when you use like the best pads going you complain, but it's because you cant bleed or set up a brake, not the actual pad
  22. in my experience, after a while they get dirty, oily, and are tacky. Just get a silver one
  23. So in theory, I've been buying things off you when I could've been getting them a lot cheaper?
  24. Lurvellyyyy cranks. Nice bike except the bars and crack
