I think the £430 I paid for my iPad was very reasonable considering the amount of use it does and will continue to get. It's an incredibly well built bit of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin and more, and does it well. I also miscalculated the amount of people I know that own them, it's way over 7 or whatever I said, but they all really love them.

I absolutely love mine. Using it now, use it daily. It's so much comfier and nicer to use than any laptop/desktop I've used. Don't regret buying it one bit. Handy, looks nice, comfortable, portable, battery life trumps any laptop, a more natural way to read/browse the web. I just love using it. So do the other 6 people I know that have them. It's a lovely bit of kit IMO

Even disregarding material costs, manufacturing costs etc, what you have to remember is that Koxx is a business with a reputable image, and a desirable product. They can set their own pricing structure however they wish, the sheer quality of the frames further affects this. This situation is akin to the whole Mac pricing that people seem to get irate about. People seem to think that Apple ‘owe’ the market an affordable Mac. Same with Koxx; their pricing structure is at their discretion. If you can't afford it, then don't bitch about it. Spend within your limits and don't think that a company's pricing policy owes you anything. Post not aimed at any individuals.

So I had a pretty brutal (although almost painless) chain-snap on Monday. Last night, I was lying on my front, and I had a chain-snap dream. I kicked hard with my right leg as, in the dream, I was approaching a wall for a pedal up. Then the chain snapped, I kicked my mattress and woke up wondering what the f**k I'd just done. I worked out what'd happened and laughed myself back to sleep.

Hate to say it Dan, but this ^^^ The fact that you've been able to ride means that there've been no lasting effects, and if the other party got wind of it then you'd not stand a chance :/
