However, the information architecture and the build quality are pretty bad, the latter more so. I don't rate <name of design agency removed>, but you're lucky, Mark, in that the Tarty site is the best I've seen from them.

Oh yeah, my summation was pretty vague and broad, but that's what I believe on the whole (after all, art and design are subjective). Of course, it's nowhere near as clear-cut as I made out, but I'm not deep enough to offer a proper answer

I think design is functional, art is decorational, so they aren't the same IMO. Design does a job, art doesn't. Design is a way of decorating information, art is just decoration… I can design, I am a designer, but I'm no artist.

Haha not good. I'm still dead nervous when it comes to playing about with/on my server! Dribbble is a new site for designers to upload/share 300x400px previews of work they're on with so that other designers can critique it. It's really hard to get an invite to it (it's not open to everyone yet) too so I was quite lucky to get one.

Haha no worries, they're equality. Showed em to the missus too* and she loves the second one. What happened to it? And here are a couple of screenshots of a trials site I started tinkering with tonight: *She's no designer, but she works as an account manager at a design agency.
