  1. Thanks for your reply Luke I won't be getting hopes for it then lol maybe some Magura or cheaper shimano. I new it was an old Monty and I only paid £40 for it as is. So I thought that was alright. It has 4 bolt holes so I can have a rear hydrolic rim brake. I also have loads of old parts from my ancient Onza so I will see what I have. I mainly got it to just get into trials again as I've missed it for to long. And thought this would be a good start also I may just buy second hand parts for it. Edit: on second thought I don't think i can put hydrolics on it.............shame.
  2. I've been out of trials for a while now and brought this old 20' Monty as a project but is it worth putting money into?. I'm unsure of the model It needs some work but that was the plan as I couldn't afford a new build. But is it worth doing up?

  4. Thanks for you advise much appreciated. The BB is fine nothing wrong with it at all ( but I will check it again ) so I will measure the axle etc and go from there. It was a lovely bike to ride even with stock parts but it needs refreshing and my own touch to it.
  5. Hello people Again sorry it's not trials but I need some advise. I have a 2011 mongoose chamber and it badly needs a new 3 piece crank but will any 3 piece fit this bike I think it will but didn't want to spend £80 or more on an new one if it doesn't fit. Also can anyone recommend a 3 piece crank my budget is about £60 to £80 maybe a little more.
  6. Yeah i was thinking of an Onza blade as its one of the cheapest as im starting again because i can use the brake and i have a brand new Echo wheel and hub but the old frame cant take that wheel are Onza blades any good do they crack easily ect do yo know.

Hi everyone i really want to start riding again i miss trials alot but i dont know what to do i have an old onza T mag 06 frame the wheels magura brakes all i need to do is get new ball bearings for the back hub and i can start riding again but i dont like the frame its old horrible and i want a change i want a new frame but i dont have a huge budget plus i want to get rid of the frame but i dont waht to just throw it out so can anyone help.   8. Yeah im undoing the wheel bolts before i tighten the tugs still dont stay straight.

Hi everyone Right sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but i have had enough of the back wheel and my bike having problems I have an Onza T-mag (not the best bike i have to say) and every time i go to put my back wheel on straight it ends up wonky i have Onza chain tugs (again crap ) both on the inside Ive tried tightening up the tugs first didn't work tried tightening them up second didn't work Ive taken the hole back brake off then setting the back wheel up didn't work Ive taken the hub apart and re-greased all of it to see if that did anything but no Ive tried everything i can think off and still nothing so can someone please help because i must be doing something wrong . Also is there any riders in Chelmsford here as i don't ride with anyone and would like some company when i ride also i would like to learn some new stuff. Cheers in advance Kieran.
  10. I had a similar problem a few days ago and asked for some advise and i got told to use mole grips so i went and got some and it worked a treat and take craigjames advise and get some allen bolts once you have got yours out the allot better Kieran.

This sounds so good i live in Chelmsford so its not far for me i will be over once Ive built my GU it will be good for me as i don't ride with anyone so will give me a chance to meet some of you lot and you can teach me some new stuff because i could do with some help looking forward to it kieran.

  13. Yeah i know they are i did say i didn't expect much for it so £200 is around the mark it would possibly go for i will stick it on ebay soon because i doubt anyone on here wants it thanks for the advise.

I want to sell my bike and get a new one but I'm not shore how much to sell it for i know i wont get no were near what i payed for it but i at least want enough to buy another frame and start building my new bike so here it is spec its not great . spec: its all Onza frame: Onza T-Mag 06 (usual scratches a scuffs on down tube one little dent and scratches on scuffs on chain stay) stem: Onza handlebars: Onza flat headset: Onza forks: Onza back brake: Magura HS33 o6 (4 new bolts) front brake: Magura Louise o6 front wheel: Onza hub (disc) Onza wheel with creepy crawler tyre back wheel: Onza hub and wheel Try-all sticky tyre crank: Onza muscle man with bash ring BB: not shore freewheel: not shore chain tensioner: (new) Onza chain tugs i think thats it like i said i know i wont get loads for it but some one will want it i think Cheers for the help Kieran.

  16. That worked on the top bolt but it has just made the lower bolt allot worse im getting mole grips tomorrow so i will give that ago if that don't work i will try something else thanks for the idea it did get one bolt out Kieran.

Thanks for all the help people i will try your advise there bound to come out one way or another and trust me I'm chucking the bolts and replacing them with some from tarty this is the first time Ive removed them other wise i would had done this a while ago again thanks for all your help people Kieran.

Hello everyone Right i`m trying to take of my magura`s for the fist time so i can re-adjust them but the person who had the bike before me has tightened the bolts up really tight i have got the right side bolts of but the left side are starting to thread as you can see in the picture so can anyone please help any advise on how to get them out sorry if this is a stupid question but i really don't know what to do Cheers Kieran.
  19. I agree with stooie Give tarty bikes a ring they give you really good advise i started out on an Onza Mod and it was cheap and it was perfect to start off on until you get better then get something better Kieran.

Hi Muel ive taken the lever off and you mentioned the bolt i could replace but i cant seem to get it out the tpa part wont come out thats if its suppose to come out plus when you turn the tpa nothing moves it just keeps turning so i think its broken. Also people my brake lever on my magura louise is really loose and when i asked the bloke at this bike shop can i replace the lever or tighten it up he said no and im shore thats bull so what can i do about it thanks Kieran.

I would have never have sorted that out with out your help thanks also my disc cylinder was loose but i sorted that out now i will check that brake lever out soon i just need to pop to the shops quick but i do think the TPA is broken because it just keeps turning also i don't know how to adjust the slaves Ive never tried and not knowing what to do i fort id leave them alone but i do think one off them is slightly off anyway will be back soon again thanks for your help much appreciated Kieran.
  22. I do have a feeling the headset is f***ed because Ive tightened the top cap and still no good so what headset would be good for my crappy T-mag 06 cheaper the better as i want to sell my bike to get a better model but i cant see me making much money on it Kieran.

Hello every one My headset has come abit loose and i don't know how to tighten it up cane any one help and also the little red bit on my brake lever (sorry i cant remember what it is called) doesn't work any more do i have to buy a new lever and if i do would i need to re-bleed the brake?
