yeah this is f**ked up.... i bought the bars and stem from nickkkkk and they were taking to long he posted them nearly 2 weeks ago apparently,then he said there was a mistake at the post office and he had to go back and re write the address and re send them , ive been waiting since thursday last week and still nothing , ... even went down the depot today for some help but they cant help me as its a standard parcel with no tracking number funnily i did ask you about wether nickkkkk was genuine and wether you got your bmx ... which you did .... have have this strange feeling that he may have opened an old message of yours regarding the bmx and used that address , so they have been sent to you ! this is weird im 100% sure they are mine ... lets see what nickkkkk says about this ... if he's made another mistake im gonna be well pissed , however if they are mine , thanks for your honesty revolver !!! he will have to send you some money to cover the postage costa from you to me .... how f**king weird hey!

ahhhhh i see......... i wouldnt mind a brand new 04 rear maggy in black with a fresh produts lever blade... but could be hard finding that.... mine are actually racelines now but the chavvy f**kers that robbed my bike sprayed em white...

Was wondering what's the deal with newer maguras (05 onwards) cracking at the lever ... I've not owned any newer models yet and currently I'm using the 04 models .... But soon will need a new set . Is it the lever blades or body that's prone to cracking ? And is there any fix for it ? Cheers

been thinking about possibly going to front v... rather than my magura... im wondering what kind of setups people are using at the moment , levers ,calipers , pads etc.... oh and especially the cables , last time i had v brakes was about 10 years ago and i constantly snapped the inner brake cable at the lever end , because i have large strong hands , and pull very hard lol.... have the strength of inner cables improved much? cheers guys

Sounds good then !! Does anyone know wether a new version is due? The front one I got off tarty a couple of weeks ago was a 2010 model with silver flanges ... Is there a 2010 model due soon ?? Would better match my front wheel .. But it ain't the end of the world if not !

Anyone know if these hubs are anygood ?? I'm after something strong and have the echo tr front hub ... The rear has a steel axle which is cool , bu has anyone broke one or stripped the threads etc Any advice ..... Thanks

ive got couple for you ....... here goes ... biking at city hall ruins , a chav comes along on im guessing around 24inch frame shit heap, drinking a can of special brew , says he can do what we do , so i said ride down that slope if your up for it, .... basically its a steep 2 metre cobbledy slope down into some mud with alot of football sized sharp rocks, and you need to lean back far and drag your brakes . so he just basically pedalled towards it with no intension of stopping and did not lean back at all... just face planted into straight over and nutted a couple of rocks at the bottom ... me mate said try fosters next time lol secondly riding at memorial , which has walls and sometimes alot of flowers and crosses , remembering war hereos... we aint disrespectful at all , and never ride on the flowers , and one night there were a few of us out hopping on the walls , i hopped up and gapped over the flowers to the other wall . a guy pissed up comes walking down through town , see's me and heads towards me , all the young lads are still on the high street and he walks stright past for me , heads up the stairs , ...im sat on my top tube resting so he must think im a kid, and he says you f**king wanker , trampling flowers etc etc, would not shut up, im just trying not to laugh , then he gets to close for comfort , i hate people in my face , and the twat pushes me , i kinda fell but my foot saved me , just , ........ then i lost my temper , stood up , im 6'3 and well built , he didnt see that coming , so he backs off , i give him punch in his cheek then a second in his glasses, which broke lol, ....pissed , injured , and now blind he runs away ,funny part--------- straight across all the flowers and crosses , WHAT A f**kING NOB! ill never forget that ....

yee one pad was worn funny so i rubbed it like fook on a wall till it was straight again ... .... just gonnna keep running them and see what happens ... can i ask what setup your using yourself ?

whats the deal with these pads , swapped some today with a mate , banged them on , took half hour to really bed in well , but they dont seem amazing like some people say , they hold ok but there aint a great deal of bite !!!! before anyone asks my brake is setup perfect , and my rim has a fairly fresh medium sharp grind .... ive read through some of the pad reviews and there are mixed views on these , some love em and some seem to have no luck... for the people who have used them , what you think ?

his chain is as short as possible.... the spoke tensioner just pushes half the chain off the freewheel and skips because of chain wrap...back to the roholf for tom now

my second attempt was better, good tension but not neat enough , aint got time to try again now so ill leave it to my mate tonight , see how he has done it ! cheers anyways

yaaa.... the frame aint got no custom boss on it , so it needs to go through the frame dropout bolt then round the axle i been told... i suppose trial and error ...

anyone give me a picture or an explanation of how to do a spoke tensioner? built my mates new bike up for him last night , just got to tension the chain then its finished .... i had a go but something went wrong ... a friend will be doing it tonight for me , but im bored and fancy another crack oh forgot it needs to push the chain down!

im 28 .....quit when i was 23 and started back up about 7 months ago.... loving it now!

cheers ben............ yeah fook the tnn mounts then ......, ive got the zoo forks and had them for about 6 months, there going strong , have stood a few 8 foot gaps to front , and being an 18 odd stone bloke ,there doing well... just wondering what to get next when they eventually die ! probably will get trialtech forks,providing i dont here anything bad about them
