Thanks alot guys, I think maybe the jump from +55 - +90 would be too much. I pretty much ride street only so i'll look at something a bit lower, to be honest i was attracted by the price

Hi guys, I havn't rode trials for a year or so and I sold my bike when I stopped riding and am now thinking of building a bike back up I like the look of the bionic B5r on trialsparts.net but I havn't really heard much about them and i'm worried about the +90 bb rise. Im used to riding a Zoo Lynx which is only +65, not sure what i'm trying to ask here but need a bit of help understanding what the difference would be. Would it ride VERY different? Does it have it's upsides/downsides to the high bb? Am I still going to be able to do what i could on my Zoo on such a different rise? Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance Stevie

I literally have got the same pain, i only get it bad after riding and only in one finger. I actually broke my finger like 2 weeks ago and it feels very similar to that except i can actually bend it this time. I can feel it bad when i pull my finger lightly, it's a real put off when im trying to ride. After a 2 day break i can ride once then it seems to come back again the day after, no idea what it is as it just randomly started once when i changed nothing on my bike. I don't think your on your own with this mysterious pain.

I ride a Zoo lynx short, and i have rode my mates GU TP long. They are a fair distance apart, about 45-50mm maybe? and the GU actually feels nice. I can't do as much on his GU but it does feel like something i could happily get used to. The Lynx long is like 1020mm which isn't ridiculously long and i really think you would get used to it very fast having riden a long-ish frame before.

I've offered you advice almost every single time you come riding with us but for some reason you refuse to believe me. I completely covered my disc in DOT before basically ruined it but still managed to get it working again. It really doesn't help that you keep putting some random solutions on them everyday, the discs are designed to work as they are. Your mounts ARE aligned, and your disc isn't loose. You're not helping your pads by putting different stuff on them, the best thing you could do is soak the pads and disc in some soapy water for a while, put them back on and drag them for a little put water on them and drag them again etc etc until they start to feel better.

Defo get Platform ones, all of the magneisum ones around the £45-£50 mark are the exact same pedal except for the colour and logos. Caged pedals can bend fairly easily, weigh more unless you spend alot of money and you can't replace the pins on them like you can on platform ones. I recently bought the Onza Hognesium ones, mainly because the trialtech ones were out of stock, my mate has got the trial techs and they are the EXACT same pedal except for the logo. Hi, This is just a short intro for a vid of me my best mate and my bro. I am aware that theres only clips of me in there but thats because we havn't filmed anything with intention to make a vid yet, need the snow to clear up properly so we can get some proper riding in. Some of the clips are a little far away. and not that great quality because i wanted to keep file size down for now. I was in the exact same situation about a month ago, and asked the same question Everyone was telling me that SL's snap so i got some urbans and they look hot And are alot lighter than the onza ones.

Same i just couldnt put a dent in a new frame, i think i would cry.

I actually took my bashring off and use only a bashplate, you do pretty well to hit you freewheel on things without a bashring. I side hop to the same side as my freewhee and haven't had any trouble yet. To point out one of the reasons i use only a bashplate is beause i bought a new echo one with my new frame and wantd to put it to use, also i think it does look good without a bashring

Train sounds good then, might just try it to someone closer by to see how it goes I wanna go to the reading ride next weekend though

So wanna come, it's a bit of a mission to get down there for me but i'll see how much it costs on the train.

Hi guys, I want to start going to some different places other than riding in my local town or village, but i have the trouble of not being able to drive and my mum or dad definately won't drive me anywhere and i don't know anyone who rides trials that would give me a lift. Unless you drive how do you get about? Do they let you on buses/trains with your bike? Stevie

Preferably risers but make sure when you buy your bars and stem make sure you dont end up with a too low or too high set up, i have VIZ pro 720 bars and a VIZ welded stem 150mm by 30 degrees and that feels about right for me. You would be best asking people what set-ups there using as a kind of guide i guess.

I agree with smurf, i ride with him so i had a ride on his old rip , it really doesnt feel like it could get up a curb. Also one major thing is it is fairly hard to upgrade as it's a 20" rear wheel and therefore is you put a 19" in the brake mounts ar ein the complete wrong place. T-pro for sure.

As for the weight yes, 250grams off the back wheel is a fair bit as obviously weight at either end is noticed far more. As for the sizes i'm not sure, i'm sure someone on here will know.

Know what you mean, like right at the bottom of your fingers. I've got them and as i've rode some form of 2 wheeled vehicle for like 6 years straight they have become really hard, only advice i can give you is dont pick them and just let them do there thing naturally, carry on riding and try your best to forget about them
