Well that failed say the spoke is 2mm thick the axle that is betweent the end of the frame and the end of the spacers was also 2mm the spoke rubed against the spacer when the bike moved forward and i made a rite hash of bending it in to sit nice on the chain

you i got yea i think so i bend the 90° put it through the bolt, screw a nipple in the end then wrap the spoke anticlockwise then make the small "s" and bend the end up? think im there lol ill go try it now longest spoke ive got is 260mm is that ok??

Thanks mark "bolt for your mech hanger (so it goes from inside the frame pointing out), then put a nipple on it to keep it in place." that bit confused me what bolt?? can you show me a pic?
