I got offered and old style onza zoot for £250, its in really mint condition as rarely been used. just wondering if its a good deal or not ? are they solid or anything to look out for ? this one has a mech and gears is that normal ? cheers

Another thought if anybody has moved from 20" to 26" bikes what bikes have you changed to because too many choices and no idea what to get. want something thats for mostly street as i roll around town and indust area's, something to play about on not serious trials stuff. Any riders in inverness out there tell me where you meet so i can ride with you guys for a while. cheers

Hi Guys Have been away from the forum and trials in general for a while as been busy getting married ( i know what a tool eh ) and moving into a new flat. Only space for my genesis core 40 and dj/4x ( hopefully entering the nps 4x comps this year ) build in spare room. Currently looking to return to trials but away from the 20" monty i used to ride. Anyway looking at buying an inspired hex ( as soon as highland bikes get one in the shop on display ) has anybody on here riden or got one ? if yes/no whats the thoughts on them. Thanks Rich

I stay in inverness and have been along a few times on the dj bike and its pretty epic. yet to take the trials through and hit the skinnies

Ye i know but im just drifting between bikes, got rid of an echo urban and scott yz so fancy something new. like trials but def getting into dirt jump and general street stuff these days as i ride around industrial areas on my lunch breaks.

Hi guys, just a quick question. want to know what pedals people are using and what to buy. Does anyone use dmr v8s or 12s which are bigger of the 2.

Took the beast to my local bike shop and turns out it is the freewheel at the ft thats at fault so they have the bike and are goin to fix it this week. Getting a tensile 60 click supplied and fitted for £45 so not to bad i guess. thanks for the help guys. cheers.

how is the freewheel attached to the cranks at the ft is it clip or snap on or somethin. can post a pic of it if that is any good.

an old hydra 220 2003 an old hydra 220 2003 it has a ft freewheel but that seems to turn. looks like it and the cranks have come unattached or somethin.

My little bro was out on his monty today and while he was cycling the cranks were clicking then 1 big crack now there seems to be no drive when your pushing the bike the wheel is turning and so are the cranks but when you try to cycle the pedals just turn but nowt happens. is this the cranks or the bottom bracket or somethin else. thanks.

Aint really got a price range prob 30-40 max each. had 500 saved for a new bike but bought an old monty hydra to mess around on for me and the wee bro so using some of the cash i have to buy some bits for it. need some boosters, poss new cranks, pedals and maybel bars and stem. not sure. but the brakes are a good first start i guess.

Hi guys, just a quick question. Want to know what boosters you are all using as i have no idea what 1s to go for. Was thinkin trialtech sport or the echo sl both 2 bolt. any advice would be the great.

He likes the idea of riding mod as he as a bmx te now but its falling to bits to be honest and i have the echo and he wants that but im to wary of some1 taking it from him at school or somethin while im at work. Thought at £100 With new hs33 and only used once or twice would be ok for him and if he gets better or good will get something else in time.

thanks for the advice, managed to get him a mint cond monty hyrda for £100 so it will do as a starter i guess and if it breaks so be it. i guess not many people ride montys anymore????

My little bro who is 13 is getting quite into trials as he has done quite a lot of street on bmx would a blade be a good bike for him to learn on. he also likes the rip but i think the blade is a better spec starter. Does anyone have/had a blade that can tell me if they are good or if i should go for somethin else. Any advice ???????? cheers all

Alright mate, i went from a stock to the echo urban adn have had it for a few weeks now and it is great. find it more usable on my daily ride to and from work when i dont take the car. really good for street tricks. i went for it as i wanted a foreplay but too much money and used to have a dmr drone so like 24"s. see you.

I guess the " what tyre ? " question is asked a lot on here but i was wondering if any of you have any ideas on a good tyre for a 24" wheel. Does anyone use high rollers or minions for trials ( dual or single ply ) and also looked at holy rollers but do they offer much grip or are they better suited to dirt jump bikes.

Ye i suppose it is quite expensive but felt it was about time i got a new bike as i sold my orange blood for the cash to get it. why buy something to learn on you dont want or are goin to upgrade any way. 24" seem to be getting more popular anyway so why not. have been riding dh and jump bikes for years so feels good to me as im not into or plannin to do comps or anythin. will post some pics later on. thanks for advice on boosters, going to get one from tarty bikes i think thought about the effect but when is it goin to appear, would love a ride to see what its like aswell thanks

Decide to go for one of these as the inspired fourplay to expensive for me. bought it new off a mate and have to say its one of the best bikes ive ever had. def prefer 24 to mod but have never riden stock before. will keep progress posted. was wondering, is has a magura rear but should i get a booster for it and if so what one. thanks.

i have last years scott voltage 25 already but use it only for general mountain biking. was looking at the zoot as a poss bike but to be honest i really like the inspired fourplay but its really pricey to buy as a sort of begginer bike aint it. thanks
