Yeah i get where you and Revolver are coming from, but i have known her for ages, like proper ages. We have always been really good friends so i know everything about her and barely anything to talk about. And this girl you are with Dan, have you known her long? If not thats probably why you cant stop talking lol. Meh, I'll give this confidence thing a try, talk to her about stuff in person more than social networking sites, try to have no awkward moments and just make the most of it. I'll try meeting her on my own one night, as i always seem to have friends who just rip on everything and turns everything she and i say into something dirty. My girl trouble, not confident around my girlfriend. It seems everytime i see her it always has an awkward silence. And I just walk beside her, Its like no holding hands or anything, like we're just friends untill i walk her to her house. It's always easier to talk to her on bebo, facebook or msn but never as easy in real life. Now i know i'm only 12, but that means you might be able to give extra help as you have all been through it at some stage. Advice on how to be confident ? Cheers.

Easy, So basicaly you may have seen my other "sidehops are annoying" thread. Well you guys here on TF have helped me alot with sidehopping. So i have been trying for a week and never seem to get it. Today i was trying hard, like i was putting myself as far as i could go. Unfortunatly the person filming didnt film any sidehops, just statics ( side to backs) so the titles and captions are completly wrong, but i swear i can land on 2 wheels on the biggest wall ( like 1 1/2 foot ) It will be in my next video. I was only practising about 4 hours, and this is what i accomplished..... Vimeo Video -> Original Video I know this in already in trials chat, i just thought more people would watch in videos. Here we go for you guys... you helped me accomplish the stuff in this video, so thanks again. So today i basicaly learnt the sidehop, only realised earlier he didnt video the sidehops just the statics, or side to backs for another name. Well the highest wall that i do (the single wall) i can properly sidehop onto two wheels, so enough of this, tell me what you think of 1 proper day of practising... I wish one of my mates would get this into his head, balance is so important. He keeps moaning he cant do anything because he litteraly lies down and does nothing. Then i say " well do something, trackstand to help your balance" and he says " i do trackstand all the time" Which he doesnt Learn the trackstand mate, folow the balance advice and your on your way It doesn't teach you how to back flip

That's nearly 2cm higher lol, i dont really care how many inches my pedal kicks/hops up and sidehops are, I just ride my bike and see how it plays out.

Lol. Well keep going the right way cos i was determined too, as everybody that i have seen do big sidehops does it the "right" way. And guess what.... I learnt today I was riding all day all i was doing was practising sidehops, now i can do roughly 3 blue pallets (chub). Thanks for all your advice, i can sidehop the "right" way perfect now and land on 2 wheels. It feels good, as you learn something new everyday. Yeah but all people think different. You may think it's okay while others may be totaly against it, on the good side of it, is it not true that alchohol does more damage to you than a joint? My friend has the same problem, his headset was loose so i tightened it, now its too stiff. Its probably your headset, and just to let you know I don't think you can overtighten a top cap
