Yes, quarter pedal strokes are better as they prevent you from loosing balance as much. They also give you enough time to get your balance, and your feet are in the right position if you fall off or want to drop off.

Hello, I went for a ride in Worthing Town today and they are rebuilding Splash Point. They have caged it off, they have dug up the ground, there wall is there as of today, but you can't ride on it. Here is the link to the new design: http://www.worthingregeneration.com/regeneration/News/NewsArticle,63386,en.asp If you can't be bothered to click it this is the content on that website: Summary of Design Proposal The scheme will create a magical, unostentatious, focal point at a critical point on Worthing’s sea front promenade. The scheme draws from, and enhances, the strong existing context of the views, the beach and the promenade. The materials blur the boundaries between the existing beach character of shingle and boulders by repeating the materials as paving and seating elements. The focal point is a simple water feature. A circular array of fifty spray jets will be mounted in the pavement, their fine mist will create a cushion of water droplets which will scatter light to create a subtle real rainbow suspended at the heart of the scheme. This low key, but beautiful, feature will create a visual focus, a cooling micro climate and a play feature in hot weather. In addition to the central feature a grove of tamarisk trees provide shelter and seasonal colour with seating for all ages to enjoy the views within the site and to the distant views beyond. An informal path on the seaward side of the wall will link two timber boardwalks for accessible seating and uninterrupted views out to sea. The new scatter of boulders and the inside face of the sea wall will be etched with texts and images provided by local artists and the community. Speakers Corner will provide a stage for orators but also a horizontal black board for text and image statements and a night time screen for projected art work by the community and local artists. Wheel swap is where you go onto your front then switch to your rear. E.g, your going onto a wall front wheel first, whilst your rear wheel is in the air you switch front front to rear on floor and front in air. Here is a video:

I ride every day, learn new things every day, watch videos everyday, learn from those videos everyday. In other words, I do everything to do with trials everyday, learn, watch, ride, teach. Best way IMO.
