First time I've ever slid a car and Thursday at 2am in a empty carpark no curbs or potholes seems like a good as place to test it. I booted it into work today with the ASC off and got sideways. But screw ever driving casually about without asc. I'd rather be sure it's going to behave and not have that constant worry. Going to a drift day in buxton tomorrow as a passenger, will record some video's.

Turned the traction control off in a nice damp tescos car park last night gave it some boot in second got a drift on cacked myself so clutch in and steer back. It was the most pathetic drift attempt ever. But I couldn't stop smiling all the way home. I think more attempts at drifting are coming soon!

Needs advice on the e36. Has anyone ever fitted the m50 manifold to the 2.8? Or know anyone who has. I got a manifold with the car but literally have no idea on what to do. Also could anyone recommend any good upgrades to the engine I could do to get max power for less than a m3 engine. Much love.

Fixed my rocker cover gasket today. It was perished to say the least, instead of rubber it decided to turn into brittle plastic. For 180000+ miles On it, there was no yellow gunge which was a nice surprise!

Eurgh my rocker cover gasket has decided to split. Oil now drips straight onto the nice hot manifold. Also the wire that plugs into to asc throttlebody comes off when you put your foot down. Leaving the asc forced On as default. Might try to bend the clips to hold it tight, or cut the cable and spade clip it on. Here is what I mean.

I reckon I could of got about 1300 for it if I waited until the end of the show season, an although the mk3 was a complete babe for me, It just struck me as pointless, the vw scene is now same car different rims or paint, and throw thousands at plush to do something that's only worth a Grand. It'll live on, but it's now hit its limit to what can be done. In regards to the BMW, if my Abs light is on, does that mean I can't turn my traction control off (I have both the abs light On and the warning sign with the arrow going around it on.)

Thought this would be my best option: The BMW e36 2.8 After a day: Wheels won't be staying, but my mate had some spare paint down.at his body shop. I've had a few ideas on wheels but will have to wait until payday. It came with an m50 manifold and a few spare wheels, not bad condition, just needs a service, lollipop joints and a new wing. Not a bad car I think.
