Wack a spacer on it, use a bit of bmx bar and grind to fit and your clearance is sorted. i have done it on my DJ and its fine.

I don't have a mongo but do have a hope internal, one thing i found that helps a treat is a spacer that has a skinny end and a big end push push the skinny end on after you've slid your forks on facing skinny towards the bottom, and it works like a charm, but my headset was still before i did this, might work for you though.

By having a vee and a vee booster, does it make the lever feel, feel like a hs33 with a good booster? I wouldnt see a v being that good to be honest. But never have used one so do not know.

ill awnser it in numbers put it to your questons. 1-i dont care, a extra fw+chain+sproket isnt heavy 2-but it will still pick up so and save you 3-true 4-weld it on, problem sorted 5-lhd asc, or possible get an eno and swap the core around? 6-i have lhd cranks on my dj and never hard that problem neither has my mate, i ride this bike everyday 7-i have a spare, and other people might not, but normal cranks do have the room for this on the non drive side, so could easily be achived. Would it be possible to get a right hand thread on the left hand crank? it is left hand thread on a rear of the hub, so it would just be opposite on the other side?
