That was hard work lol, Finally got most of it sorted, there is an assortment of moveable bits like pallets, tyres, other random planks etc, Loads of hardcore went down today and its been whacked so hopefully should hold up as long as the weather behaves itself which it has today, its been lovely!! Hope to see you boys down there tomorrow. I probably wont be there all the time so if you come on a bike, just go in there and do what the hell you want (reasonably) It's a playground i made for you guys but if things arent what you want you can move shtuff. HOPE YOU ENJOOOOOOOOOOOOOY

Atm it has rained a wee bit last night and sunday but its holding up okay atm, just have to keep our fingers crossed but its all go atm! Im currently trying to gather pallets but people don't seem to like parting with them, but ill sort it

cheers for replying guys, its just the one day for this but i do really want to sort a weekend shebang for later in the year. basically if anyone local wants to send me ideas of what they want or help build something new and interesting then i would be most appreciative! Rob if you want to hook up briefly anytime to have a chat let me know. the only other thing is we need to have some riders definately up for coming or a. ill look stupid and b. the chance of a weekend do would be slim jim. I know its all a bit last minute and i do appologise for that but anything you can do would be much appreciated even if you can only come for a couple of hours. cheers folks. Hi there guys its me again, now this year ive left it bloody late i know! Ive been speaking with Adam and we both dont have a lot of time. But what i was thinking was if any local lads wanted to help organise it and plan a course then you are more than welcome to do so, ill help where i can but i am quite busy but i do want it to happen. HELLO PEOPLE!! First up im sorry i haven't been keeping you all up to date, But without getting too deep into it there has been one hell of a shitstorm at work. The boss handing his notice in and me threatening to leave too due to various, but fixable reasons that trustees cant seem to understand, plus the God awful weather we have been having the park has been somewhat waterlogged for weeks. If we do this it will be later on in the year ie Sept or Oct, and im waiting to hear back from insurance (for the camping which they dont like the idea of and need some convincing, dont ask me why) Secondly, thankyou ALL for the support and encouragement and with your support hopefully i can make a great case and get this ball rolling and we can have ourselves a damn great weekender on our hands. I WILL keep you posted with information i promise, and i understand that people work and need notice etc etc and i will do the best i can. The park IS a charity, we get no external funding from the government or anything, all the money we have comes from donations and grants so if you WANT to donate we would be EXTREMELY happy to accept it, plus it'll more than likely tickle my bosses fancy to let us keep doing it =) just a suggestion all proceeds would go directly to the park, not filling my pockets =)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO sorry guys! Unfortunately it has been called off, the park is waterlogged, the field we use for car parking is over your boots in water and we have thousands of people come through on the day and it wouldnt last 5 minutes. I am going to try and organise something for you lot but as an individual event, a bit more of a spectacle/event maybe along the lines of 'Filthy 48' if you remember that? I will be nipping into Tarty to talk to the lads to see if we can come up with something between us as i really enjoy doing it and i wanted to make something bigger of it anyways, maybe its a blessing in disguise? The Cuerden Valley Fair is on again this year and i want to do the Trials area again but i can only do it if you lot are interested =) It's on Saturday May 19th this time around and as usual you can ride all day for a very small fee (its all for charity anyway to keep this place up and running) The area is the same place as the past 2 years but i wil try to add more and more things to make it more interesting for you and again if ANYONE wants to help with layouts or ideas you are more than welcome to message me on here or facebook as i know i have quite a few of you on there. I'll add photos when i get home of the layout last year so people who couldnt make it can see what it was like. I'll also add more general info when im not at work and i can actually think but if you are interested or have any comments then please drop a post in this thread. Its a really nice day today and im building the course as we speak in shorts and a t shirt, obviously touch wood like, ill also be doing a sun dance at lunch http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/2801 forecast atm, white cloud, 17 degrees, low humidity, it changes every day atm but its changed for the better every time ive checked =)

Its getting closer and the forecast for saturday is looking glorious atm! Cant wait to see you all again, lets make this one better, im just on my way to pick up more pallets and reels =)

You can bring your form and stuff on the day, and when you arrive you will go past our office, it will all be signposted, just hand it in there and head down on your bikes =) And please bring your mates, the more the merrier =)

Few more disclaimers recieved today which is good too see, but we want to see more =) if you came last year we would love you back in force, working on sponsors for refreshments atm so you dont all die.
