I'm think of selling the other HS33 brake, as I prefer to have a disc brake on the front, I have no idea why but when I've ridden other trials bikes with HS33 on the front I feel I can't get a bite comepared to ones with a disc brake, probably just me . Thanks for the advice

Hello, I've had my Onza Bird for quite some time and it needs some upgrades and changes so far I've just added a pair or HS33 to it and was wondering what to change the front disk brake to? Also which upgrades could I do to the freewheel? Any comments/suggestions will be helpful Thanks Raj

Hi. Thanks for all your replies so far. I am 5ft 7 in height if that helps. Also where would I be able to buy a second hand bike apart from ebay? Also the MAD Phase 1.3 has gears so is it a good idea to get a trials bike with gears or not because I have heard very varied opinions on it. Thanks

Iron rust like anything but your bike is probably made of steel or an alloy of some sort but i agree with everyone else leave it out in the rain and salt speeds up the rate of rusting. Salt and water make a very rusty bike You could use a soundblaster after let ur bike rust as it prepares it for spray paints a lot of people use it on cars.

Hey! Im Raj and i live in West Sussex and i have just recently got into trials biking after riding a collegue's trails bike. I am currently looking for a trials bike to start up with but i do not have a lot of money to spend with.

I am positive you can buy a scott chainprotector thing from Chain Reaction Cycles or maybe Wiggle. I think they are only about £10 or less!

Hi! I have just started to get into trials biking after riding one of my collegues trial bike. I was wondering what would be a good bike to start with. My budget is round £250 Personally I was thinking a MAD Phase 1.3 but apparently it will need its brakes upgrading because they are not powerful enough and the forks are heavy but the frame is very good.
