  2. yeh and he may not of pulled you because in reality would a van be able to keep up with a motorbike?and the likely hood of a bike gunning it away is quite high so why would they even attempt it in a box on wheels
  3. it was my old frame,i was running 18-15 and had a problem with the driveside brake mount getting the clamp high enough to sit on rim nice.i had a old levelboss and had the same problem with that aswell.they must have a welder with a dodgy eye or broken tape measure!
  4. yes looks well nice toby, couldnt possibly think who you got the frame off. really like the raw look.wouldnt mind trying it when i cu next if that ok?so you got rnd the chain tension problem,it always was a pain in the arse youd think for how muck koxx frames are they would pay more attention to the brake mount position.really like it though.
  5. cool benito,we can have a onza showdown.

    26"forks

yeh it has i think, mark did say because of where the tt forks cracked that the rockmans would be a stronger fork in the way of having that booster welded on so in the way of eliminating that problem again the rockmans would be stronger and more durable.i have no doubt that the tt forks are stronger around the crown area and now that the welding around bolt mounts has been revised they are a winner fork.im happy with the tt's ive got coming and know that i wont have any trouble with steerer snappages or cracking mounts

    26"forks

m-part components make them, you should be able to find one through madison website.and yeh a starnut will go in there you will just have to get the smallest one tarty do even though i think i got a 1"nut in mine with no problems. i would send you a link but havent a clue how to do it just done a quick google search type in fork expander and there will be on a third way down page.

    26"forks

god knows just guess it wasnt my nite. yeh you can chris.disregard the trialtech topcap and knock a starnut in and use the 3d topcap thats what i did or buy a expanding nut they use for carbon road forks cut the tophat of it so it goes inside fork as they designed for normal square cut steerer and job done.thats what in using at min with the 3d stem as found the starnut never sat quite perfect.

    26"forks

i had my forks out two weeks ago when i fitted a new headset the nite before the essexbiketrial comp and didnt see anything as i always give everything a clean and check over before i put back together as im abit anal like that, and ridden three times since then. think ryan was talking about the 20"rockman disc forks he had.

    26"forks

from what i remember the the trialtechs have a thicker steerer than rockmans so that will help.the trialtechs were alot stiffer forks and can see the changes in the weld finishing round mounts. fingers crossed as i dont want to hit my face again as im really hungry but at the min carnt eat cos my jaw hurts to much with all the swelling
  22. the third mount is a cable guide, theres one further down aswell.

    26"forks

just spoke to tarty, sending them off today then pics goin to rockman so they should be warranty as its not an area that gets abused in the way of hitting it on walls etc like your chainstays would normally get. well i was with ryan crisp when it happened and i know he had a pair of the 20" on disc and they snapped in the same place and hes the same weight as me! it was probly the lighest tap you could do as wheel was rolling of the edge for the tap not like i was henching it up to front from the ground. id probly be wurried and certainly wouldnt wana run another set.they were 4months old and done 3comps on them and sum street but havent rode that much as i got a bad knee problem at the minute so just been taking it easy on bike.

    26"forks

trialtech just started creaking then noticed a crack when loading bike in car.rockmans snapped when i was doin a quarter crank tap onto a 3ft tall post. i weigh 12stone and my style is pretty smooth im not a basher at all.do alot of to fronts, gaps, sides and comp stuff.my setup is all lite comp bits so cant bash fings.wouldnt say i abused forks at all.
