  1. You can try a wire disc. Like
  2. On those blue ones can`t you photoshop the blue into green ?
  3. I have the ZOO! main logo and the ZOO! back logo ready for printing. It`s not 100% accurate on the font but it`s 95%. Tell me if u want to post the image here.
  4. When this one brakes im gonna try an upwards model.
  5. Exactly what i did. I will try next up to make one so that it pushes the chain upward so that more of the chain is wraped around the cog.
  6. I`ve tested it today for about 4 hours , all sorts of moves , gaps especially. Not a single skip.
  7. I have made this today. I used an old hanger who had attached a cilinder. The key is to roll the spoke perfectly around the cilinder/axel/whatever you find. I have rolled it by hand. No pliers or anything. Also very importand is the S shaped curve you give the spoke after you have rolled it.I have added a plastic tube on it because it sounds like metal schratching on metal and hate the sound. The tension is very good and the chain stays straight with the FFW and the sprocket. Click on the pics for larger/full view.
  8. This is it. Great guide.

Comments: (does your bike feel a little too long, too short etc... What would you want different about it or is it absolutely perfect for you? My bike feels a little long , maybe a longer stem like 120x20degrees. I haven`t tried a rise bar yet but i think i will invest in one.
  10. Waiting for parts , bike in pieces + snow dammit.
  11. Update , i have belt sanded the booster to give it a shine and rounder edges. Here are the pics:
  12. Update , i have drilled 10 holes in the booster. 10 mm holes with a hand drill , only one hole is slighty offset. But i think it looks great. Now i have to sand it down and spray paint it. And the pics:
  13. Thanks for the imput , as i have said in the first post i just did the drawing , the booster was made at my father`s work place. I wanted it plain and simple but any improvements for future projects are welcome. As you can see it`s a V-Brake booster , soon i will get a 4 bolt frame and maybe i will make another booster to fit that. I can make it 2 bolt or 4 bolt. I think the thickness is too much , 10mm plate. The plate was max 10mm , but the worker could cut it down to 7-8mm. If you need more pics just tell.
  14. Yeah i noticed that too late , i have drilled them afterward to fit M6 bolts. I run a 2.30 tire. Tioga Factory DH
  15. Thanks , if someone has some ideas on how to make that booster better please modify the drawing. Units are milimeters.
  16. I will weight it this afternoon my guess that it is in the 150-250 grams mark. It`s a raw finish , you can still se the trace lines , a nice paint job will come soon.
  17. I`ve made my own brake booster. To be correct i have made the technical drawing and from a 100 mm AL plate the booster was milled.( i think that's the correct term) It has been made at my father`s work place. The only mistake that i made was the holes i made them M5 but it was M6 . Enough with the talk , here is the technical drawing , will post pictures of the booster in about 1 hour . It fits on my rear i have tested it , but i didn`t take any pics with it on my bike. The bike is in pieces. Opinions?
  18. I think he has fixed prices for a certain country , and then he adds the additional KG`s. For example , sending to the UK cost him 100$ , besides that he weights the package and calculate total shipping cost. say for 1 KG it`s 20$ and so on.. Anyway is kinda expensive if you think about it , you have to make a pretty serious order for the shipping taxes to benefit you.
  19. Scooter916 where do you live ? How much did the parts cost and how much was the shippment ? How long did it take for the parts to arrive ? Did they arrive at your home or at the postal office in your town ? Thanks for the reply.
  20. It`s how you feel best , but most people including my self do the sidehop with the front pedal away from the wall because i can lean more to the wall. I am with the left fot forward so my right foot will be next to the wall and i turn the handlebars very little to the right. I have tried the other way around , with my left foot next to the wall and i don`t feel confortable at all. You have to practice and then choose how you want to advance , but start small so u don`t bash your derailleur/disk/frame. Good luck.
  21. Anyone ? Their prices are about the same as biketrialseller.com but the shipment is cheaper i see. And not so many parts. Waiting for a reply if someone has bought from there. Thanks
