My mate busted up his elbow (shattered!) the other day, now he's in the hospital, has to go through surgery and everything... I defs don't want that to happen to me as I'm a beginner, and probably will fall stupidly one day. Now I need a recommendation of non-restrictive elbow pads, if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone has opinions on what shoe and pedal combination to run, with pros and cons of each For example, are trials specific shoes really necessary, or will any bmx or skate shoe work just as well? pros and cons? Pedals? (I know it's been done to death) But for example would trials specific shoes work better with caged pedals, whereas bmx shoes work better with platforms, etc? Any opinions? Also, what are your personal shoe/pedal combos? How do they run? Thanks.

I run an odyssey linear slic brake cable. I can't find any info on its outer diameter, but do you think it would fit?

Hi all, new to the forum, as well as the sport. I want to set up my bike for learning barspins (and later on, whips). After searching online, the general idea seems to involve using a larger diameter hollow stem bolt and starnut set... The problem is that I run an echo urban fork with the extra thick steerer tube, and it doesnt seem like this hollow bolt starnut would fit ( I assume they're designed for forks with regular thickness steer tubes)... Does anyone have suggestions for running the brake cable through thick steerer tubes? Thanks.
