  5. I'm as up for this as last time. Count me in. Flexible with dates/times.
  6. Sold an old bike for £40 on the 'bay, just to clear up some room in the garage. Guy takes 3 days to pay because said he was ill. I say that's fine, got the moneys, will hold until the weekend. Changes pickup date on the Sunday he was due to collect. I say that's fine, it's a nice day, pickup Monday. His Dad picks up the bike on Monday. I even throw in a few tools and things to keep things sweet and clear up more room. Now contacts me saying the bike is too big and wants his money back. Seriously, where do some people get the f**k off in this world? I don't think I've ever expected people to go out of their way for me, and always been genuinely appreciate and nice when they do. Furthermore, I always try and return the favour or repay the global karma to someone else. I must have been a dick to someone without realising it and this is the universe paying me back by throwing this chump my way...
  7. Saw these in Cosco and fancied one myself, but I do wonder whether it will be as others have said - used once exercise.
  8. Me too Lame... was really looking forward to this.
  9. A general lack of literacy. Especially noticeable in some Facebook 'for sale' groups. I wouldn't call myself a pedant, but when it gets to the point I have to decipher an advert and the picture posted is an upside down screen capture from someone's phone, it's a real head in hands moment, praying for the salvation of mankind.

    R/c Cars

Damn thread, piqued my interest and popped into my local hobby shop - you know, just for a look around. Ended up walking out with this. Really impressed with the quality for the money. I used to have a HPI Rush Evo, as fun as that was, this thing just goes and no more messing round with glow starts etc. Can't wait to pop a few mods on it, another member of the club!
  12. Have a great time, can't wait to get down there myself. Post lots of pics/vids!
  13. Did I not make the cut? Shame, but no bother as it's inspired me to sort something else out in the meantime as it sounds like there's no firm dates anyway?
  14. Late to the party but I would be more than up for this, a stones throw from me. Can do midweek and happy to pay deposit for 2 cars upfront.
  15. Another vote for the mobius. I have 2 from that very seller also. Bizarrely the second one, although newer, only works with certain microSD cards unlike the first so you may want to order the card at the same time.
  16. Now that's tech! The possibilities seem pretty cool too, with the add on mods. €400 is actually a bit of a bargain, nice find.
  17. Does chloroform smell of lavender - I thought the line was: "Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?"

    Bargain or con?

Some more info. The business address is listed as Newstead, Gravelly Hill according to the ebay listing. According to 192 http://www.192.com/places/tf/tf9-4/tf9-4ju/ That business at Newstead is called Abbey Motor Services, but a google search doesn't yield anything of that name at that address. http://www.abbeymotorservices.com/ is a garage in Tamworth, could be related, but maybe not. Take from that what you will. Actually, just look at sellers other items, feedback and c'mon now.

    F1

What's the issue? Malaysia was the most entertaining F1 race I've seen in ages... like Rich J, I fell asleep watching Australia, but this race had everything. Firstly, there was the contrast of the Mercedes and Red Bull drivers approach regarding team orders. Force India trying to do a pit stop... heck, McLaren trying to do a pit stop. Crashes (and near misses) in the pits due to unsafe releases, Alonso crashing after gambling another lap with a broken nose.
  20. Does anyone know if a clutch indicator cable - the one that tells the ignition system if the clutch lever is depressed is required for an MOT? I pulled mine off trying to get the bike to start and it will be a bit of a faff to refit if it is a requirement.
  21. I presume you haven't registered the business at companied house yet - your original post isn't clear. They actually won't let you register a business if it's name is too similar to one already on the register. Not sure how that affects trading names.
  22. Isn't container wars (or storage wars) already on History?

    Halfords BMX

Cheers for the advice, I'll take a look at it again tomorrow with that in mind. My only concern is that the nut feels tight, but the seatpost doesn't, almost like the post is a few mm to small in diameter
