  1. But doesnt petrol make rubber crack and go hard?
  2. When first starting I used biggish hops because if you dont balance too good the bike will fall in any direction, so I needed a big hop to compensate..
  3. Thanks for replys, this is sounding like I should afford it when I need to... Iv been looking about and seen a few Zoo Pitbulls. Are they much of a step up from mine? And would it be a pretty straight swap?
  4. After reading my bike will inevitably snap, Iv started saving! I have a full diamond back and would be looking to just get another 26" frame. But I was wanting to know how much, on top of the frame cost, it will cost? Things i can do a straight swap like wheels are great but what would need to be specific to the frame? bottom brackets and things? Thanks
  5. Off everyones replies they're thinking the brakes sticking on. But you havnt actualy said if its sticking when you pull or, like mine was, the whole caliper was too close and even when fully released it was still slightly touching at times (because i had a buckle in the wheel too) They might just need moving out like in bobo_grimmer's post...
  6. well i got bored waiting for the bike shop to have a time slot so i had a go myself...and i dont know how, but i managed!! lol theres still abit of a buckle, but id say its less than 1.5mm and its spinning in the brakes fine. so im proud of myself!!!
  7. i dont know about trials. but i do road cycling too and drum and bass definitely gets me riding faster! haha
  8. well il do what i can baring in mind i cant even bounce on the back wheel yet i think il be ok for a few months yet i wont bother spending any money on this, i think il just wait for it to snap and go from there. if im lucky it might snap in the next few months and i can try weld it before i finish school! haha thanks people!!
  9. thats what i was hoping not to hear! haha and the entire frame flexes? on the bright side, im already saving up for when i break the frame! haha thanks
  10. yeh, 4 bolt. il let you know how it goes.. cheers
  11. thanks, i remember trying to move them like that, but they were already on their limit. but whilst checking i noticed id missed a massive buckle in the wheel! now i feel like a bit of a tit for not seeing it in the first place! lol cheers!
  12. hi, iv just got a couple questions... first. its got hs33 brakes and the rear is touching the rim. iv looked at it(but im useless with hydraulics) and i cant see how the pad can possible move further away from the rim. i think its because the diamondback rims are a different sort of double walled rims. they seem different to the other trials rims iv seen before.. does anyone else run this setup and its ok? iv read some reviews on the tekiya and a few say they snapped. is that off extreme drop-offs? or is it worse than im expecting? thanks!!
  13. hi im alder. i race road cycling but got a trials bike to have a bit of a mess about round town. just bought a diamondback with HS33 brakes(the brakes are probably better than the entire bike lol) im pretty useless on the bike but hope to get the hang of it!
