When i went for a 6 foot drop i rolled forwards went to pull back and realised i was in 9th gear.. Foolish of me! I let the bike drop and i hopped over the bars, just remember to bend your knees if your lucky enough to last that was up!

Just started riding again after 10 years! And the first things i got once i got my bike was some Roofing tar!! I looked around the site and apart from grinding & sanding i couldnt see it used as a method of improving braking, So just wounderd if other used tar or if i was crazy Simon

The flex in the lever you speak of it that on the 2011? I was looking at upgrading my 2005's but flexy levers would be a turn off!

Cool thats good to Hear, Dosnt help im a lone rider at present, so need some riding buddys......i Also think when i was younger risk wasnt a word i was famillier with. but now im a HGV driver messing up will be costly, Im lucky i smashed my head on a weekend and that wont hapen again as im going to get a helmet.

Hi Guys, Ive just started riding again Today, if you read my "Hello" Thread ul see it wasnt the best start as i split my head open . I was just woundering how old Riders are and if im too Old to start Riding again and get to a good level. Im 24 and havnt riden in 8 years i wasnt the best rider although i was far from begginer level. Id like to get good again as id love my son to start the sport (he's only 2 lol) So How old are you guys?? i seem to think all the kids these days are 14/18 that i see on my travels. edited my first Post, Helmets coming tomorrow when i find one! Hurt alot more falling than it did when i was 16 year old used to bounce back up lol

Hi Everyone, I Just Started Riding again today after 8 Years Out, ibought a 20" Monty today its the first time ive owned a 20" perviously owned a Pashley 26Mhz. Didnt last long untill i hit the Deck hopped onto a fance and the wheel slipped sending me backwards landing on my head so not the best of starts. Anyways hoping to look though the site properly tonight, So Hello From Me! Ps. This is why im buying a new Helmet, any recomendations?
