    Bike Tax

Just a quicky, Got my new bike insured today and ready to tax it when i get the insurance papers come through. Currently SORN. Do i just walk down to the post office and get it taxed? Or do i have to do something else? Cheers
  10. Bike insurance is a pain in the ass!!! Checked it last month before i bought my bike and the quotes where about £500, Go on today and struggling to get insurance for under £750. There is one quote for about £550, Then the next quote down is £750 and so on. One drawback though, I bought the bike and have no proof of restriction despite it being restricted. The proof according to MCN isn't a legal requirement, The insurance company for £550 wants proof of restriction within 7 days of buying the insurance. This means i either have to get the £750 insurance, Or find a proof of restriction (Either dyno or a actual certificate by all accounts) Good note: Sold the 125 within the first day of advertising it Had about 8 people contact me lol EDIT: rang up Kawasaki, they do there own restrictors kit and certificate for just under £30, fitting will be about the same (even though i already have the bloody thing!!). not as bad as i thought.
  11. 125 cleaned up, ready to sell for insurance for the Kawasaki!
  12. Filled in the form, Cheers guys,Great idea! I will make a small donation into a Paypal account or something lol

    Ghosts

After seeing several ghost hunting programs and the like, Its proper weird of our theory of ghosts. Too many people have had experiences and seeings of evidence relating to ghosts life but science cannot simply prove or simply explain what goes on (In real life or through out brain) for a fact. Its interesting to share and hear views on the subject, So what experiences and theory's have the people of trials forum got? Personally i believe there is something out there (Doesn't necessarily have to be ghost, How we would normally interpret it) but the human race have not discovered yet. I used to think all the programs are just made up and there was a logical explanation for all the noises etc recently swaying towards them after hearing this story from my mother, When my mother was a kid she had to go into this house now and then because of cleaning in a small but famous town, Charmouth. She saw and heard things chucked around of mantel pieces etc but was told she was seeing things (Judging by her expression she seemed at a very uneasy presence while there) . A few months back in the newspaper they discovered dead body's lying under the floor boards...... So do you believe in ghosts? Do u recon there are always logical answers despite loads of sightings? Whats your experiences? Yes, u probs think im crazy by now lol
  15. Dam, That was some good chicken!

  16. All you need is a restrictors certificate because certain insurance company's ask for it, Or some sort of proof such as dyno (This i read is not a legal requirement i heard) and the actual bike to be restricted, They will not view the bike. Yes nothing to stop you removing the restriction but be well aware its illegal and the insurance company's may not pay out in-even off accidents if they take it for testing Restrictors vary, They can be throttle stops, Washer type things by the carb but mine is directly under the seat with a small plastic box , Being connected by one wire! Because its restricted my old one is present. So it can easily be derestricted in a matter of minutes!
  17. Ah cheers guys, Defo a smokey smell! Am i right in thinking if it has gone in the cylinders it will burn it hence the white smokey stuff? this shouldn't harm it much?
  18. yeah sounds pretty healthy and all,
  19. Yeah the bike was on its side for about 1 min or so (well more like 45 degrees), too find a safe place to pull in. that means once its all settled again and ridden a little it will go away?
  20. Just collect the beast, Its been shook up alot on travel (what turned out to be a 2 hour round trip taken 5 because of flooding!) and the strap snapped so got a little mark but nothing to serious! started it up and its smokey as hell, pretty sure its just because the oil been shaken around?
  21. blasted weather being rotten!
