  1. Just bought one of these my good man aswell! Pretty chuffed, I have read there good for beginners restricted?
  2. Ah fairdoos bud, Take it you have just passed aswell?
  3. On your own bike? bike rental included, theory test beforehand which was £30 included and it probs was a few quid more as it was a triumph school that took my hearing into account etc
  4. Altogether my bike training/tests, All in cost me £760. That was a 4 day intensive and had to retake mod 2 because i failed Id imagine because u do moto trials, Mod 1 will be easier from your point of view with u turns etc, Even though i rode a motorbike for a year before-hand mod 2 was the one taking up the money and time but once you get your head around it, it all will make sense.
  5. Exacully my thought, But thanks for the advice, Much appreciated . All 2-strokes appeal to me is kids on 50s and 125s being faster than there mates on 4 strokes on the roads or for track use.
  6. Problem 1 - I had the same issue trying to get my echo hub in my blade frame, Got it in eventually and was proper tight and pointless, Took a file to it in the end taking VERY small straight bits of until it just about moved freely, Dont know if its recommended or effect other hubs that are put on in future but it worked good for me problem 2 - id imagine the locking nuts and silver bit are there for a reason... but other than that i wouldn't know
  7. Yeah the mcn review looks pretty crap, But dad used to have one and reviews from people that have actually owned one don't seem to bad Want something reliable, Low maintenance, Simple but also fun to play around with on the weekends, Suspect it will keep me entertained from changing from the 125? Its a 2006 model btw
  8. Water wont hurt it (Only after long periods), Bled a 2011 last week and seems all good! Same as a standard hs33 to bleed but take the plug out of the lever and undo the hose into the lever by three threads so it lets water through. (btw this is bath bleed method)
  9. Anyone know much about the kawasaki KLE 500? A nice one has came up with low miles and good price. Any good for the road use and torque for overtakes etc? not clued up with figures but it says 32ftlb torque weighing 195kg
  10. looks like a sweet bike, so how could a frame crack? i just assumed it was from too many wheelies and jumps lol
  11. gutting, what bike is it? Love jumping on the bike and forgetting all troubles and the world! Feels good, Hopefully viewing a drz 400 supermoto this weekend!
  12. Yo, So who on here is doing coursework for Collage/6th form/School whatever? Im pretty bogged down with it, Feels like its never ending and i certainly havent felt like i have had a clear mind in a while! Got to be handed in in about 6 ish days and still got 6 assignments to do who here is in the same boat?
  13. Just seen a link on Facebook to this, Well i shall certainly be tuning in and watching the documentary!
  14. Cheers, Yeah he is a riding mate We did keep clashing helmets alot also and the gear changes where smooth as anything haha lol, doesn't help mines only a four-stroke 125 tall as anything and like a plank to sit on haha
  15. Any advice on carrying pillion? Had my mate on the back today and the starts and stops where by-far shaky and wobbly everything else was good though . Stopping, I put in rear brake then when im close to stop, take the foot of brake then stop with both feet out, wrong? Bike hunting still continues, How come when you want something nothing comes for sale
  16. 2nd day in a row full of riding trails, improving loads and enjoying it more than ever! maybe a break was good?

  17. Scratch that, Seen one in the flesh today and they look awesome!
  18. cheers bud, was looking at drz but wanting something different from the crowd, ccm looks alright but how common are the parts? my last bike was awful for replacing standard parts and pretty pricey.
  19. In the market for a new bike, Got my heart set on a sensible supermoto type bike, So any ideas around the 2k mark? Been and viewed a few bikes including a aprilia pegaso which was rather nice , Only drawback is fitting and buying the 33bhp restriction will come about £250
  20. awesome ride today! finally back into trials again!

  21. hahaha Cheers, Was proper pissing it down all-day and getting to the training center was a mission in itself lol
  22. Passed mod 2, Over the moon!!
