yes, take the pistons out and give everything a good clean and lube them up before put back in, then rebleed. what do you use to bleed your brake? if not then your pistons are on the way out

are the cone tight so it doesn't wobble and have maximum spinning time? could also be a rough side of the inner cone from over tightening previously. either way i would invest in sealed as my open bearing hub knackered pretty quickly. personal i would ride it till it dies as shouldn't be that much of a problem.

about 1 1/2 years ago i saw my mate come down the road on his bike and i was like WTF is that with no seat and fat wheel(at first i though it was a custom made frame and he was being a idiot lol) looked into it and though that looked awesome and i would have a crack at it. i think i liked it because it was different and not very heard off.

i would get a hs33 for the rear and different pads other than standard. you don't need a adaptor. all you need to get is standard brake clamps. cant recommend a disk as haven't used many.

hubs are normally 116mm with snail cams and 110mm without snail cams, i think. anyway the blade has a built in tensioner so they should work without snail cams. i believe. EDIT not the ones that are 116mm without snail cams though.
