i had this as well, i prefer to do everything to the left but can do it to the right. basically its like doing it from scratch on the other side, just takes practice and then it doesnt feel weird.
dont suppose some one can do me a favor? looking at a echo tr rear rim and handle bars in turquoise and was wondering how it will look. not sure if it will look a bit over the top.
yes, take the pistons out and give everything a good clean and lube them up before put back in, then rebleed. what do you use to bleed your brake? if not then your pistons are on the way out
why the lightest headset? you will only save a few grams, surly you would want something with good performance etc.
anyway look here, all headsets with the weights, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/standard_headsets/c19.html
upload your photos that you want on a website like photobucket, when done there will be a img code next to the picture, copy that and paste it in the post making.
find area of one circle, time that by how many there are, keep that number.
find area of square then with that number take the area of all the circles away.
think that how it goes anyho.
are the cone tight so it doesn't wobble and have maximum spinning time? could also be a rough side of the inner cone from over tightening previously. either way i would invest in sealed as my open bearing hub knackered pretty quickly.
personal i would ride it till it dies as shouldn't be that much of a problem.
about 1 1/2 years ago i saw my mate come down the road on his bike and i was like WTF is that with no seat and fat wheel(at first i though it was a custom made frame and he was being a idiot lol) looked into it and though that looked awesome and i would have a crack at it. i think i liked it because it was different and not very heard off.
i would get a hs33 for the rear and different pads other than standard. you don't need a adaptor. all you need to get is standard brake clamps. cant recommend a disk as haven't used many.
yeah just kept to black and white as dont want it to look gay with a mixture a colours. yeah forks weigh a tone, wonna upgrade but money is tight.
will keep it in mind dude. will let you know on friday as thats the only time my bro is in and he pays for it on his card.
cheers, feels stiff compared to my t bird yeah does flex a bit though.
hubs are normally 116mm with snail cams and 110mm without snail cams, i think. anyway the blade has a built in tensioner so they should work without snail cams. i believe.
EDIT not the ones that are 116mm without snail cams though.
